Tour was entertaining and informative. Our guide was excellent ,very knowledgable and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, learned a lot and would recommend this tour .
It was an excellent experience with a tour guide Stephanie. She made the tour very personal, expressing her feelings openly and sincerely. We enjoyed this tour from the first till the very last moment
Well organized, team of Dark Rome arrived earlier, checked all equipment and divided people in groups. Daniel, guide of our group, is very well educated, has good sense of humor and likes a lot what he is doing. Gallery is a real pearl and must while in Rome.
We really enjoyed this tour. We had a very good guide - Louise. She brought all the art to life for us. You could feel her love of the classics and her appreciation of them. We are not fans of large tour groups- this was a small group and very well done.
It was wonderful! Everything went smoothly and the tour guide did an excellent job. Highly recommend this tour.
We really enjoyed the tour. This was due to the great guide we had that day. I don't remember his name but he had many interesting stories concerning the art works we saw. He spoke fluent English. His English was GREAT. I certainly would like him as my next guide on the next tour I might book. The whole process with your company was painless. Everything worked perfectly with meeting the representative and the organization was well done. No complaints.
My husband and I thought we could book our museum visit when we got to Rome. When we got to the museum, however, there was a "sold out" sign at the ticket desk for the next 4 days - we were going to be gone by then. I immediately got my smart phone out to check if any tours had spots open and were fortunate to get two tickets through Viator for the next day. Our guide was Lindy; she was great - very knowledgeable about art and art history. I think we were lucky we ended up on the tour; we learned more from Lindy than we would have visiting the museum on our own. The tour also saved us time; you are only allowed to stay for two hours and we did not have to waste any of it standing in line, or locking up our belongings (no purses, bags, etc. allowed in; you have to put everything in a cage).
Great guide ! And we love the device which enables us to move freely around the rooms and still hear all the explanations. The villa itself is beautiful and some of its treasure is a delight to behold. At this time of year it is busy and we are glad we had a guide who could steer us through the different rooms and point out the most important artefacts. I would like to come back at a less busy time of the year.
The tour guide was very knowledgable! Too bad it was raining and couldn't walk the gardens.
Very interesting; excellent guide; time well spent. The collection is fabulous and very well presented.
This tour and all the other tours I booked through Viator for my trip in Italy went great. The tour guide for this particular tour was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very upbeat and kept us all engaged. I would def. recommend anyone traveling to book through Viator. Definitely worth the money and time.
