We found this tour to be enjoyable and informative. Our guides were knowledgeable. One had a contagious enthusiasm for the sites we visited. Our favorite site was the Church of San Clemente and the environs at that site. We would recommend this tour to others.

We had a fantastic American tour guide and the most luxurious air-conditioned bus to travel around in Rome. The city is so hot in July!. We drove 20 minutes to the catacombs, which had interesting tunnels but no bodies, just holes which was kind of a disappointment. We then drove 15 mins to a church built on top of the ruins of a church from 1300s (which was built on church from 900 AD, which was built on a house built in 300AD). Exploring all four levels was a real step back in time. Then we drove 10 minutes to the bone crypt, which was 6 rooms decorated with bones and full skeletons of monks. It was very unique and it is a must-see!

This tour had 3 generations of people on it, with two who were concerned about the possible macabre aspects, but the guides made it interesting enough that no-one was frightened. As a matter of fact, we were all fascinated! Great job by the well-informed guides!

This was an excellent day. Very good English speaking and knowledgeable guide, and not too many people on the tour, unlike one we did in Milan, where 50 people were really too much for the guide to cope with.

Our guide was excellent! The church was like nothing I had ever seen before. This is a very interesting tour, and I would encourage you to take it! The bones at the crypts are a bit overwhelming at first, but actually, it was very interesting.

This was a really cool and interesting tour. It's probably not one most people think about when coming to Rome, but it's highly recommended. Our guide was very knowledgeable.

I loved this tour because these guides know what they are talking about and the tours go along so smoothly. This was a very interesting tour, but it would have been nice to know beforehand that this was a no picture-taking tour.
