We really enjoyed this tour and was perfect for the one rainy day we had in Rome as most of it is underground/inside. The tour guide, Mike, was enthusiastic and helpful, although there were a few technical difficulties in finding out where our first location was going to be. You will be picked up by a coach from the meeting point and we went to 3 different locations, one out of the city, one near the Colosseum and one back at the Barberini meeting point which is the Cappuchin Crypt. There is not much walking involved but it wouldn't be suitable for anyone who has accessibility problems or doesn't like confined spaces because there are quite a few steps and some of the passageways are narrow. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

I had been staying in Rome for a few weeks and wanted to be more informed about it's history. This was a last-minute booking and I was glad I did! Our tour guide Louise was very knowledgeable and took the time to interact with everyone during the walking tour. She made sure any questions were addressed and we never felt rushed going through the catacombs and churches. I would recommend this tour to anyone, great job Dark Rome!

A fantastic tour! Unfortunately one of the tours (maybe catacombs?) was unavailable at the time, but our guide Massimo was great! Gave us tips and places to check out around Rome and where we were staying and was a lot of fun and had a wealth of knowledge from an unbiased point of view.

Thanks to our guide, Daniella, who was very knowledgeable and great at her job! The places we visited were very interesting, especially the visit to the crypts of the capuchin Monks. This tour is a must do!

We were fortunate to be in Rome in the 'off' season. There were six in thetour and Ettore was a fabulous guide. The crypts have to be seen to be truly appreciated. After eight tours I cannot say enough good about Dark Rome tours - the best experience I have had in 20 years of traveling.
