This tour was different, who would expect to meet a Cardinal from Boston U.S.A. when on a tour.

This was really amazing to see all the bones done in images of things eg a clock. If you have an interest in archaeology then this trip is a must. I loved it! Both the Crypts & the Catacombs both equally brilliant, you really need to see to believe.

The guide we had was very good. He spoke very well and had a lot to tell us. He was patient and very polite. Since the group was small, we shared the bus to the catacombs with another group, and their guide did the "running commentary" during the drive. He, too, was very friendly and had a lot of information. The tour was well organized and finished with a visit to the church of St. Clemente.

This tour was very enjoyable. Each of the three sites visited was very distinct, which made the tour very interesting. The guide was excellent; she had a thorough knowledge of the topics and sites and was extremely pleasant and polite. The group was not too large, and therefore you could get close enough to the guide to hear her clearly. The guide at the catacombs was also very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. All in all, an enjoyable and very interesting tour of Rome's underground.
