What You Can Expect
Take a look at Trajan’s Market, and hear tales about what life was like in Ancient Rome. As you visit the Roman Forum, once the heart of the city, admire ruins such as the Temple of Caesar. Stories about the power and influence of Imperial Rome are accompanied by visual aids to help spark imaginations.
Next, walk over to the Colosseum, Rome’s most iconic ancient site. Sail past the entrance line with your skip-the-line ticket, and go inside to tour the ground level of the arena with your guide. Hear tales about the different characters who made up the Colosseum’s ancient history of power and battle, from the emperors to the gladiators to the lions. Participation is encouraged, so don’t be afraid to ask any questions you have and get your kids involved in the interactive experience.
After about 40 minutes in the Colosseum, head outside, where your tour ends.
Martha did a great job! We would recommend this to any family!
Flo our guide was very informative. She gave my grandson who is 9 a wonderful insight to the history of Rome .
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, fun, and friendly. This tour is geared toward primary school aged kids, and they do a great job.
This tour was fantastic! My son Amar is 8 years old and he was captivated by the guide who told a whole story of Rome and made it very engaging for the kids and parents also. there were lots of little activities along the way and a little quiz leaflet to discuss in the evening with the children. There were so many facts that my son remembered and was able to talk about. This tour was the highlight of our stay in Rome. each child was also given a small gift. The guide we had was amazing with the children, very patient also and was able to deal with children of all ages and involve them in conversation about Rome. Well done to her! She made the tour unforgettable.
If you want your kids to see the colosseum, this is the tour to do. Our 5 year Old was only mildly bored at times, our 7 year old was fully engaged. Enthusiastic and high energy guide tried really hard. It was a tour for children which the adults went to too, rather than children being dragged around with a bunch of adults Take your own ear phones, our 5 year old had a hard time, they were too big for her ears, she also struggled with the accent. She was probably a little bit too young. Highly recommend this as a great way for children to experience history which adults also enjoy.
Very good. Well organised and fun for 8 year old son
We really enjoyed the tour and it was great not having to queue for two hours to get into the Colosseum! Our guide was great, very knowledgeable and even organised some games with a quiz for the children on the tour, with all the children getting a little gift! Would definitely recomend
This was an excellent tour. The guide was kid friendly but still informative and passed on a lot of information. She managed fifteen young children very well over two and a half hours. There is quite a lot of walking involved, and the Colisseum is a steep climb, but I would say if you want to tick this off the list and you have kids, you won't find a better tour than this to help you achieve that goal.

Exellent tour for my 9 years old son and us. Great experiance and activity for family with children.
Very good tour for ages 5-12. Tour guide was great, and engaged with all kids. One kid was super smart and dominated conversation, and the tour guide handled it well overall. I learned a lot from the kids questions as well. It was a really hot day, so the Roman Forum was a bit dull/hot for the average kid mine, but once we got to the collisium, all kids were alive and engaged. Kids had interactive games to play with the tour guide. Good for kids!
