Excellent. good for kids, parents and grandparents. Our guide, Chiara was very considerate of the younger kids in the tour and of those who were too small to use the head sets - she took these kids with her to the front of the group, ensuring that they could hear and keep up.
Brilliant tour...kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide was engaging and informative..maybe a little slow to start but then improved. The breaks in between for games were a very good idea...
I would recommend this tour
We all loved the tour guide, young and old! Our guide was informative and really engaging with the children and as well as the adults! I would highly recommend!
Our kids thoroughly enjoyed it! Our your guide was fantastic and kept the children engaged.
Loved this tour. Just the right amount of time and information for my 12 year old. I learned a great deal as well!
This tour was excellent and pitched perfectly for children. The tour guide was excellent
This tour was awesome! Our guide was fabulous. My 7 year old daughter was captivated throughout the entire tour. I was slightly worried that she would lose interest, but not a chance. Interactive games and fun was injected into this simplfied version of Rome 'back in the day'. Perfect for us adults too. Highly recommend.
We took the Vatican City tour and were a bit apprehensive at first because we had an 18 month old toddler with us. The tour guide was excellent and our group was very considerate as well. The tour guide was very knowledgable and even answered all our queries. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Kids had a real good time and guide was very friendly. Awesome tour
The tour was amazing and very appropriate for children! Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining and she kept the kids very engaged! They kept asking questions and interacting with her! My son stated that it was the best tour ever!
Our guide was amazing!! Had the kids (and adults) engaged right from the start. Very interesting and caught the kids imagination. Felt we covered a lot of ground over the duration but did not feel rushed. The price was very competitive and worth every cent. We wished there were a lot more of these type of tours in Rome for other parts of the city.
Highly recommended! Tour guide is awesome. Many ideas, tips and games to keep the keeds engaged and entertained while learning.
We all enjoyed the tour - adults and children included. It was a very hot day, so having the tour later on in the afternoon was helpful. Children definitely need to be 8 and up to enjoy it.
This was a fabulous tour. The guide was very informative and patient. I think my kids at ages 10 and 12 were likely the oldest. The 12 year old felt some of the demonstrations were a little young for her.
Our tour guide was very entertaining and kept the kids involved with activities along the way
The tour as a whole was very good. The kids liked our tour guide - she was friendly and well informed. The one criticism was our meeting point. Our cab driver didn't know where it was and neither did the first three people that we asked. Finally someone told us where it was. It's not very well marked! I'd advise a new meeting place!!!
We didn't realise from your website that the tour was specifically geared towards children. Annualised, our guide did a good job in balancing the tour as other people who booked the tour also didn't realise. Otherwise, a great afternoon. The site needs to specify for young children.
The tour guide was energetic and really kept the attention of the all the kids. My kids 5,7 absolutely enjoyed it.
My only complaint is... I would have enjoyed more of a tour of the Colosseum(1/2hr)and less of the walk to it which was 1 1/2hours. Not really what I expected.
Worth doing, but the guides English was so-so, and she could have focused more on exciting examples to engage the kids more; like -Imagine if you were a Roman, what would you be wearing? Would you go to the Gladiator games, where would you be sitting and why? It was focusing a bit too much on a higher level, like the names ,looks and traits of the different emperors, which is not really interesting for a child. Great idea with the little gifts though, and the Roman numbers bingo.
We felt this tour was positioned towards younger children, 6-8 years old at most (ours are 8, 10 and 13). The guide spent too long at the beginning of the tour meaning that we had to rush through the Colisseum, which was disappointing. We didn't think this tour was worth the money.
