Excellent guide, good information and descriptions of what we were seeing, brought history to life.
This tour covered alot of ground and was worth every minute. The Colisseum, the Forum and Palentine Hill...WOW! Our tour guide was Elena and she was well versed and absolutely pleasant to be with.

Our private tour of Ancient Rome was fantastic! We met Shannon our guide and immediately hit it off. She was fun and outgoing and knew the answers to our many (sometimes obscure) questions! She made sure we lingered where we wanted and kept going where we didn't want to spend as much time, and she was really informative, bringing ancient Rome to life. The whole Viator experience was super, including walking past weary hot people in a long line and getting right in to the Colosseum. We thoroughly enjoyed having a private tour so that we could move at our own pace (even though it was 95 degrees out) and hear everything Shannon had to say. It was a super experience and I would strongly recommend to anyone considering a tour to try Viator.
Other than the one day strike at the Forum preventing us from going into the Forum area, it was an outstanding tour. Our tour guide, Laura, was exception.
