Glad we did skip the line because it was really crowded. I can't imagine how long the wait is in the summer. Leonardo was very knowledgable and experienced and we had no problem meeting him in the crowd. I would caution tourists that many of the restaurants nearby are tourist traps and not authentic. Research before you go.
Leonardo was a wonderful guide and the private tour is the only way to see the Vatican. We would never have been able to see as much as we did by ourselves. Well worth it! We had been once before but had not seen the Raphael rooms. Beautiful, especially The School of Athens. This was our first day in Rome and the perfect introduction to everything else we saw.
Our tour guide, Elena, was incredible. It is just my wife and I and Elena to take this 3 hour tour. It is well worth the monies to take this private tour!!

Booking reference #52573856 Our guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and thorough and she had an extensive background in art history regarding the tour. We enjoyed her company and pleasant manner as she took us through the museums. All six of us felt that she made our experience extraordinary. We would highly recommend her as a guide and your company for providing such great service.
Ther tour was great - our guide gave us exactly the tour we wanted. He catered to the things that we were interested in and tailored the tour to our requirements. And skipping that queue is worth the price of the ticket.
The tour was perfect for us. It was just what we needed. The guide was very patient and never rushed us through anything. Which was necessary for my 70 yr old mother. He gave us lots of information, but never too much. We saw what we wanted to see and had no problems.
So glad we did this private tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw and understood the highlights and important points. We would have been overwhelmed without her.
Alex was very knowledgeable, we enjoyed his commentary and was helpful wilth all our needs.
The private tour was excellent. Leonardo met us on time and was very knowledgeable and informative. He spent considerable time answering questions asked by the participants and was patient and very articulate.
The three participants were pleased with the entire tour and would recommend Leonardo and the tour to others.
We were luck to have a "private tour" and we took full opportunity to ask many questions and learn from our tour guide who was excellent! highly recommend this tour.
Mom and I had a great time! Our guide Jorg was friendly and very knowledgable. We meet outside the entrance and he assisted in processing the need for a wheelchair (which we had pre booked). As items caught our eye,we stopped along the way and he explained the history of items. Before entering the Sistine Chapel we sat and he explained in a photo what we would see inside, since talking inside is not allowed.
Would recommned the tour and our guide!!!
Excellent. Britta (our guide) was marvelous. She took the time to explain the exibits, asked for our input on what to see and do and was very friendlly as well. I would recommend this tour and Britta too to everyone.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of St. Peter's Basillica and the Vatican Museum. My husband has mobility problems and our guide accomodated his needs and tailored the tour to our specifications. We were thrilled with the results.
Our guide was punctual and well informed. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience would definitely recommend this tour. I wouldn't have enjoyed a large tour group it was much too crowded
