Great location, great guides, many steps with fantastic view. Much but not too much information provided by sympathetic and competent guides. Highly recommended!
The tour was very good. It was very crowded, so skipping the line was extremely helpful.
Amazing view of a very special place. Antonia was so interesting. Hung on every word, that is when I was able to catch my breath from the climb.
Our guide was fabulous! Excellent knowledge, clear English and did an excellent job ensuring everyone was able to see and hear the highlights of the tour. I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Rome. The duration of the tour was just right.
This tour is totally worth it...not only do you get to skip the long line at St Peter's but you get guides who are passionate and knowledgeable. There were only three of us on the tour as well, so even better. Sylvia in St Peter's and Claudia, who took us up the steps to the cupola were both terrific and really made our day. Thank you again.
Efficient, reliable and professional. i booked the night before but the confirmation was prompt. The view from the cupola is amazing and the walk up 300 steps is an experience for those who can climb stairs. As the guides, Irakli and Paula provided highly informative and insightful tours.
A view of the Basilica sanctuary and St. Peters Square that you rarely get. The guides were very good, but too rushed. Slow down and let us take more photos.
This was a terrific way to skip the lines, get fabulous views of the city from the Cupola and enjoy St Peter's Basilica. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and our party of 2 got great value.
Our guide was very good. We loved the view from the cupola and enjoyed learning about St. Peter's Basilica. Although the lines weren't long at 8:30, by the time we left around 10:30 they were terrible. I feel the information we get from our guide is well worth the cost of the tour. We just can't learn everything on our own.
This was a really great tour. Our guide was Antonia. She was the best tour guide I've ever had. Others in the group also made comments to the same effect. I'd thoroughly recommend this tour.
Tour guide was great, very informative and pleasant to be with
Our guide for the St. Peter's Basilica Walking Tour was excellent...He went into great detail...Our guide, Mercedes, for the Cupola Tour was also quite good...and very accommodating. The views were breath taking. It was the last day of our vacation...and it ended on a perfect note. I would highly recommend Viator. I booked this tour 24 hours beforehand...and they didn't miss a beat.
Fabulous time of day to go - 8.30am. Tour guides punctual and speak very good English. Cuppola is definitely worth the climb. Overall - the tour was exceptionally good. Would highly recommend.
That was extraordinary, the site from the top was unbelievable. Our tour guide Antonia, was so very knowledgeable, explained everything. Couldn't ask for better...
This was the highlight of my visit to Rome. My guide Sylvia was so well informed and could communicate so well it just made the whole tour so memorable. The climb up was not that bad at all. We started at 8 30am thus the crowds weren't that big until towards the end of the tour. The feeling of standing on top of St Peter's overlooking the square is just amazing. If you are not scared of heights this is truly worth it .
We were in Rome Aug 2014. The line ups to almost any thing is long. One of the main benefits of booking a tour is the ability to skip these long (and I mean LONG) line ups which is often in the sun. St Peter's Basilica is just simply on those MUST SEE places in Rome. There is nothing as spectacular as this church. We also walked up the 300 + steps and 1 short elevator ride to the top of the dome. You get some pretty spectacular views of the Vatican Colonnade and the surrounding outside areas. Also you are able to see the mosaics in the dome up close which is worth the price of this tour. You get such a better perspective of the art, mosaics and the size of this place by going up the dome. Highly recommend this tour.
Very good tour guide, she spoke very well English, explained everything in details. I bought my tickets with Viator in advance so I wouldn't have to wait in line so when we got there it went fast we didn't have to wait.
This was very well organized and the tour guide was exceptional. One small note---we were well prepared for the steps and physical activity but I was not warned about the claustrophobia---Very small spaces in the dome during the climb! Spend as much time as you can at the top of the cupola---the views are breath-taking. And the tombs are a must. This is a FULL DAY of sight seeing and learning.
Just great. Met on time at allocated place, skipped the line and had a really good young tour guide (Benjamin) to show us around the dome and then inside the Basilica. It was a great trip and one to be recommended.
