It was an excellent tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept our interest the entire way. She included additional facts that were very interesting. Well worth the cost of entry.
Catalina was excellent. This was our first time to do such a tour, and as a result, we have decided to do it throughout our one-week stay in Italy. We did a bicycle tour in Florence yesterday, and today are back in Rome for a Colleseum tour. Having a guide there to tell us about things, made the whole experience so much richer. The Basilica has such a depth of history, which we were totally unaware of. We would have walked around for 20 minutes, having no significant idea what we were looking at. The tour guide made the experience.
What an experience! If you ever visit the St Peters Basilica only do it with a tour guide if you dont want to que for hours and if you want to have a good understanding of the history and what you see inside. Would highly recommend this tour and will definitely return to Rome during summer.
Well worth the money If on a budget this tour is well worth the money English speaking well informed tour guide History of Vatican and contents we would never have known Highly recommend
Meeting point was clear and contact arrived promptly, on time.
Guide around the Vatican was first class. She was very informative, patient, answered our many questions, and didn't speak to us as though she had done lots of previous tours. Excellent.
The tour was very informative and provided a valuable insight regarding the many views in the basilica. A very good value for the money.
The tour was really good we had a difficult time finding the person who we had to meet but eventually found them. It was only two of us who needed the English tour so we had our own private guide. She was very knowledgeable. A plus is being able to skip the 3 hour line.
I have difficulty walking. Your staff pushed me in my walker into the cathedralo and then set my wife and I up with a wonderful tour guide. The service you provided was,to us,above and beyond expectation. I would recommend your compnay to all my friends. Thank you for your outstanding service.
So glad we did not have to wait in line for this tour - it was very, very long, and at this time of year (late Oct), that was unexpected. Loved being able to tour at our own pace, with headsets. Our only disappointment was the barricade set up at the altar where Peter is buried, due to a mass about to begin, as that was why we came back after a visit here 2 years ago. One of the greatest churches in Christendom and not to be missed. This tour is a great way to do it.
In this tour you really do get to skip the line and walk right into the Basilica. The tour guide gave us good information about the Basilica. It was a nicely paced tour.
We looked everywhere for our tour guide but could not find them, the line was very quick to get in because we had the 9:30am tour (even on a Saturday, it took five mins maybe) We showed the security guards our ticket and they took us to the tour booth. Idk if we were the only ones signed up or if we missed our tour, but we got a personal tour of just the three of us. It was really awesome, our guide Antonia was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to take our pictures and ask any questions we had. Would definitely recommend! Even if we were on the full tour, it would've been great.
It was great to be able to walk past a very long line to enter St. Peter's Basilica. We were met by a man holding a sign with our name on . We were led inside after a 10 minute wait to begin our tour. It was one
of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you Viator.
The tour was better than expected. The guide spoke as if she was telling a story and was a wealth of information. We were not rushed and were given time to take our pictures.
