It was great to be able to walk past a very long line to enter St. Peter's Basilica. We were met by a man holding a sign with our name on . We were led inside after a 10 minute wait to begin our tour. It was one
of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you Viator.
The tour was better than expected. The guide spoke as if she was telling a story and was a wealth of information. We were not rushed and were given time to take our pictures.
This was a wonderful small group tour. Our guide was passionate and so knowledgeable and he shared so many interesting facts that made the Basillica come alive.
This tour was awesome. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of information
It was definitely well worth the money spent to skip the 3 hour line and the audio tour was really helpful to understand the history of the Basillica. It was also nice that we could take our time and re-listen to some parts of the tour instead of being in a large group that was hurried through the tour.
Very well organized and very interesting. This was my third visit to the basilica, but the first guided one. There are many interesting things that one can find out from a guide only. The tour itself lasts one hour, after which you can stay longer on your own.
A very well managed tour given the hundreds of people both inside and outside the basilica. A very knowledgeable guide.
the best tour ever. the best tour guide . his name was jose. very informative and we avoided the lines. thank you
WOW. Visiting Rome and not tour St Peter's Basilica, will be a pity. It does not matter what faith one have or follow. You feel something different once you enter the Basilica. The history is there and alive. We could not have completed the visit in Italy, unless one embrace the tour of The Vatican. Charles and Evelyn . Melbourne Australia
We greatly enjoyed our tour
We picked the Spanish option since my parents were there
Valentina did an outstanding job as tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed it
Our guide was excellent and gave us a thorough overview of what we were seeing. I must say that our experience was probably influenced by the fact that we were the only two for an English tour at the time, so we basically had a private tour of St. Peter's. Also, remarkably, the Basilica was not crowded. Our tour was at 12:30, so having a mid-day tour might be the way to go. The process of "skipping the line" went very fast and from the time we met the representative to the time we were with our guide was about 5-10 minutes, which included walking to the entrance and to the guide podium.
This tour was great! Stefania was a terrific guide, very informative and kept us engaged while moving the tour along!
Silvia speaks German very well and guided us perfectl and competent.
