I have visited Catholic Churches in many parts of the world and these four are the most beautiful and historic. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the various statues and mosaics and very accommodating to what we wanted to see the most.

We only had a very limited time in Rome and wanted to see as much as we possibly could. We booked several tours, all with Viator, and I have to say that all of them were excellent, with extremely professional guides and groups which were not too big, so it was possible to hear the guides and ask any questions that you wanted to. This tour was by far the best one we did, and our guide was not only very pleasant but also very knowledgeable and helpful. All four basilicas should be a must for anyone who is visiting Rome; each one is special in its own way and each more opulent than the next! My favourite was St Paul's Basilica which was all the more exciting because it was a special anniversary of St Paul this year. In contrast to other tours, there is not so much walking with this one, and we had an excellent driver. When we reached St Peter's, it was great to be able to skip the line as it was quite large. Of course St Peter's is a magnificent basilica. The sacred stairs at Escala which must be climbed on your knees are not for the faint-hearted or the weak-kneed but are well worth the climb. Many thanks to our guide, who kept us informed all the way through the tour.

Excellent!!! Our tour guide was wonderful; she knew all the interesting details of each site. The churches on this tour have some of the most important relics in the world: the spear that pierced Christ, fragments of the manger, and many more. The Stairs of Christ have limited times to be viewed. It was closed when we arrived, but our guide got us in for a few moments. It's a highly spiritual place/object. Go on this tour!!

Now's the time to go for this tour. With it being a new tour, so few other participants made it feel like a private tour with your very own excellent tour guide. Capture secrets of Rome in a way books don't tell you, whisked around in a private car, asking any questions at all. Wonderful!

This was the best tour in Rome. I know it is a new tour, but our guide was absolutely wonderful, and it was wonderful.

This was a good tour. It seems like all tours go through St. Peter's, but the tour guide still had some new things to show us.

The tour guide was good and fairly knowledgeable. I was disappointed that she did not mention, nor take us to, the cloisters at San Giovanni in Laterano. Similarly, she avoided any mention of the cloisters at San Paulo, except to me; she told me they were not as nice as the ones at San Giovanni.

Our tour began a little late as there was a change in tour guides at the last minute. After touring St. Peter's, we had to wait about an hour on the driver to arrive. The guide took us to a restaurant to wait but failed to tell us that the libations we ordered were to be paid by the tour company due to the LONG wait. Tour was overall fine but took 5 hours. Fortunately, we didn't have an afternoon obligation that conflicted. The Four Thrones were certainly worth seeing there just seemed to be issues with time, changing guides, and a VERY tardy driver.
