Glad we purchased skip the line tickets! The line was wrapped around the building - it is well worth it!

The skip the line was totally worth it. The line that we skipped was so long we did not see the end. The only negative is that you have to wait until the complete tours get organized before they take you up to the museums, but this is only a minimal inconvenience.

Skipping lines was great! Paced ourselves and went on a Monday, the heaviest day of the week for the Vatican since other museums are closed. Good deal.

It sure was worth it to have a ticket ready. There was a long line, but we passed by that and went right into the museum.
