The tour was great! I went the previous year and did not go with a guide. The extra money for a guide is well worth it. I learned so much more and thoroughly enjoyed the site. The headsets were a plus because we did not have to hover together in a group to try and hear the guide.
This trip was worth every cent it cost. Our guide was knowledgeable and without her explaining everything it is doubtful we would have got much out of the visit. The normal line to get in must have been a mile long. We went straight in through the guided tour door with absolutely no waiting.
Tour was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable about all aspects of our tour.

This was probably the best tour of our trip to Italy. The guide was very knowledgable and gave a lot of information at a nice pace, with lots of time to take pictures. Spoke good English and the headset was good to hear her. We really enjoyed this tour and the guide had a nice style of presentation which made the tour more interesting. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our Viator excursions were excellent, and our guides quite informative. Makes a huge difference to have a audio solution based on the crowds!
This tour is awesome. So much magnificent artwork, sculpture and history to be seen.The only negative is the large crowds that can and did go with us through the galleries and Sistine chapel. It is unavoidable. Our tour guide was concerned at the large crowd but was able to keep us together and handled the situation very professionally and capably. It was great to walk straight in and avoid the long queus. Another example of the reliability of Viator in organising the tour.
The tour was excellent. The guide, Rosella, was very knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to know. We would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Rome.
Very informative. Incredibly glad we chose to go on a guided tour as we felt there was so much we would have missed otherwise. Was also very helpful skipping the ridiculous line! Would definitely recommend.

This was our first vist to Rome and wont be our last.We booked the vatican tour with viator and it was fantastic. Our guide was wonderful, very friendly and full of knowledge. We booked another guided tour at the coloseum but this was not good! Next time will again book with viator as they appear to be very professional and the tour was not boring at anytime. Thank you.

Excellent guide tour....
This tour is absolutely a must-see when you get to Rome. If you don't want to spend the money, buying tickets in advance and downloading the audioguide would have also sufficed. Then you can stay as long as you like.
