Great tour, we are very happy we did it. Very interesting and amazing art in the museums, we didn't expect it to have so many fascinating pieces. The sistine chapel is ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING, we have seen it many times in pictures but to see it in person is definitely a different experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, it's great to know the background of the thousands of art pieces. I am honestly not much of an art person, but I was very interested at what was in what was in the museum and chapel. I would highly recommend this tour.
Luciana was unbelievable great as our tour guide. She started the tour by learning ALL of our names. With 12 or 14 in the group, she was able to call everyone by name throughout the entire Vatican tour. She was tremendously knowledgable and made the entire tour a pleasure. She told stories, was as fun as she was knowledgable. I met a travel agent who will only use her for her high end tours. I can see why. she was absolutely amazing! The tour itself was breathtaking. The Sistine Chappell and St
Peter's lived up to everything you have ever heard about seeing this for the first time. 3 1/2 hours went by pretty quickly. Despite being very busy, Luciana was able to maneuver our group very well to hit the highlight. If there were 10 stars , I would give her a 10!
The lines @ the Vatican require hours of patience, which we do not have. Skip the line is a must for this event.
Skipping the line IS a big deal here. It's SUPER crowded. Great to go on a tour where someone with an art background explains things to you.
Great tour to take to avoid the long lines. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We would highly recommend this tour.
This is truly a first class tour. We saw the Vatican in a very small group. No waiting in lines. Our tour guide was so accommodating. Her English was great. I would highly recommend this tour to all my family, friends, neighbors, anyone wishing to see the Vatican.
We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Rachel was very informative, interesting and entertaing. The smaller size of the group was hugely beneficial, the headsets and quality of sound were very good. We really benefited being given information on the Sistine Chapel before entering. Excellent tour!
The guide, Alexia, was passionate and incredibly knowledgeable.
I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
The only thing is that people who have walking issues get really tired - tell people there is a lot of walking in this tour, please! We spent the next day in bed in pain and missed the next tour because of swelling in my wife's knee and ankles from all the walking, and pain in my back.
Excellent guide named Marta. She made sure we got into the Sistine Chapel before the hordes of visitors arrived. Of course, because of time constraints, we just saw a small portion of the Vatican collection, but could have gone back through at the end of the tour.
This was a wonderful tour and our guide was incredibly informative. I was so glad we took this tour and could skip through the lines.
EXCELLENT tour due to the in depth knowledge of our guide. She knew every detail of each painting; who was represented in it and the history of everything. Her English was perfect.
Another must see. Saving time and getting the personal, small group information made it a very special day. Wonderful guide!!
My wife and I had great experience with a knowledgeable tour guide. If you want to see the Vatican this is a great way to go.
