GG was a friendly very knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humour who made the visit fun and interesting and inclusive to the whole group - in all thoroughly recommended Bravo!
Laura was really great. We went on a Wed. So the museum was empty of crowds and we really got to enjoy the treasures. She then helped ensure we got into St. Peter's Basilica without a wait. Her knowledge of art history and its relation to world history was impressive.
Marina was a wonderful guide. She was very informative and it was nice getting to know the city with her.
If in doubt, select the early morning tour and you will be so thankful. The small group changes the entire dynamic and lets you have more time to actually view, as well as more thorough description.
Our guide was very knowledeable and passionate about her knowledge which brought to life many of the individual elements. After taking this tour, skipping the line, and avoiding the later crowds, I cannot imagine a better way to tour the Vatican. Excellent experience, you will not be disappointed. I would take the same tour again if and when I return to Rome. An all day option would be interesting. Just a suggestion.
This package was the BEST!! My friend Norma and I didn't want to be part of a large group. The size of our group was perfect. There were about 12 of us. We did not wait in line, just walked right in. Our tour guild shared so much information with the group. A great history lesson. We choose an early morning tour and it was perfect. I love Viator!!!
We got a lot of background information on this tour. It was very interesting and the Vatican was well worth seeing.
Excellent tour. Knowledgeable guide. Skipping the line was awesome. There was so much to see, Highly recommend the small group as a way to go.
Tour guide provided wonderful information. Pace was good. Group was not to large. Very glad we took this tour.
The best tour of our whole trip! The tour guide Maria was so informative and passionate in relating the history and significance of all the treasures we observed! Her emotions and pride for these artefacts and places shone throughout the whole experience!
Our guide was so very knowledgable and helpful. An outstanding tour.
Great tour with informative and amusing guide. Saw all of the best bits of each location without being held up at any stage despite the huge crowds. given the amount of things to see anything other than a genuine skip the line tour is a waste of time in a city with so many wonderful things to see and do.
Our guide was outstanding. Her commentary anticipated questions from our small group and she was very knowledgeable about the subject matter. Best use of our time in Rome with a great overview of the Vatican.
Very good, worth doing the early tour as it got busier later. St Peter's Basilica was my favourite as the sculptures in there were amazing. We did make the mistake of buying are breakfast at the Café that's by the meeting place and got charged €28 for a tea, coffee and 2 muffins.
Loved the guide and tour. We skipped right to the front of the line and saw areas that were closed to the public. There was plenty of time to soak in the art and culture of this amazing place. We were able to stay as long as we wanted after the tour to revisit anything we wanted. A must do if visiting Rome. We then walked to Giancola for lunch and more sightseeing. Loved loved loved
Perfect day - Skip the line tour first thing in the morning is the way to go - the small group made the tour easy to maneuver through the museum. Sara Napolitani was excellent -
We were on the first tour of the day. The Vatican Museum tour was excellent, with Elizabeth an excellent and very well informed guide. The Sistine Chapel segment was OK, but even with the early hour the Sistine Chapel was extremely crowded not our guide's fault! The tour of St. Peter's was also excellent.
Great tour, guide very informative. Line was very long outside ticket window, we walked right in and started our tour. Get an early morning tour between 8:00-8:30, it is very quiet for the first hour
This was our first tour in Rome and our guide Alissia made it fantastic. Every one of these destinations is a must see and Alissia kept the tour running smoothly while giving us all of the necessary information. Must see and if you have the option of asking for a guide, ask for Alissia.
Our tourguide was well prepared. She briefed us before we went into each room and provide important information on the art and its significance. Alessia made our tour experience not only a historical event, but was able to bring the artists and the Pope's of the time alive. Great experience.
Fabulous! Our guide was so knowledgeable, informative and efficient. We saw all the major sites and did not feel hurried. Highly recommend this small group tour, well worth the cost.
I recently went on a tour with my boyfriend and we are in our mid 20s. Sonia, our tour guide, was fantastic. She had extensive knowledge about Vatican City and really tailored the tour to suit the nationalities in our group. Worth the money just to beat the queues! Definitely go in the morning
Great guide and saw everything we wanted to. Without this type of ticket the wait would have been several hours in blistering heat.
Just remember to dress appropriately as some don't as you may be refused entry.
A wonderful guide with a deep level of knowledge of the art and its history. This girl deserves a raise!
