Perfect day - Skip the line tour first thing in the morning is the way to go - the small group made the tour easy to maneuver through the museum. Sara Napolitani was excellent -
We were on the first tour of the day. The Vatican Museum tour was excellent, with Elizabeth an excellent and very well informed guide. The Sistine Chapel segment was OK, but even with the early hour the Sistine Chapel was extremely crowded not our guide's fault! The tour of St. Peter's was also excellent.
Great tour, guide very informative. Line was very long outside ticket window, we walked right in and started our tour. Get an early morning tour between 8:00-8:30, it is very quiet for the first hour
This was our first tour in Rome and our guide Alissia made it fantastic. Every one of these destinations is a must see and Alissia kept the tour running smoothly while giving us all of the necessary information. Must see and if you have the option of asking for a guide, ask for Alissia.
Our tourguide was well prepared. She briefed us before we went into each room and provide important information on the art and its significance. Alessia made our tour experience not only a historical event, but was able to bring the artists and the Pope's of the time alive. Great experience.
Fabulous! Our guide was so knowledgeable, informative and efficient. We saw all the major sites and did not feel hurried. Highly recommend this small group tour, well worth the cost.
I recently went on a tour with my boyfriend and we are in our mid 20s. Sonia, our tour guide, was fantastic. She had extensive knowledge about Vatican City and really tailored the tour to suit the nationalities in our group. Worth the money just to beat the queues! Definitely go in the morning
Great guide and saw everything we wanted to. Without this type of ticket the wait would have been several hours in blistering heat.
Just remember to dress appropriately as some don't as you may be refused entry.
A wonderful guide with a deep level of knowledge of the art and its history. This girl deserves a raise!
Seeing the non-reservation line made us really glad to have Dorina there. It's a bit unclear where to meet the guides, but once there she was flawless. We could never have seen as much and never learned so much if she wasn't there. Linda H
The tour guide Sara was really informative and also very passionate about her job.
The tour went for about 3hours and we didn't feel rushed and could ask questions along the way.
Highly recommend for a good historic understanding of the Vatican and the museum.
We loved this tour, it was very well organized, started and ended on time and the tour guide was absolutely phenomenal- I think her name was Maurella? She was remarkable.
Very informative tour of the Vatican. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome. We had a very knowledgeable and witty tour guide cannot remember her name at the moment which added to the experience.
Our guide Michaela was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgable and made the your very interesting. Book on a Wednesday morning for a chance to see the Pope! Excellent tour.
Guide was exceptional. She showed us all the interesting small things to give the Vatican meaning. Well worth it. A Must-do when in Rome. You can walk for hours in the Vatican and not know what you are looking at. This tour summarizes it all.
This was a fabulous way to view the highlights of the Vatican. Small group and early morning time was key to make the experience more personal and avoid the crowds. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Pay attention to instructions on where the tour is to meet, however. The designated meeting point is in front of the Vatican Museum and NOT in front of St. Peter's Square.
We really enjoyed this tour. As promised it got us past the incredibly long lines and allowed us to spend time in the Raffaello rooms and the Sistine Chapel, as well as St. Peter's itself. Francese was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Of course, we only saw a fraction of what was available in the museum but the time we did have was used well. We also had the privilege of seeing the director of the museum which, from Francese's reaction, was rather like taking a tour of the White House and bumping into the President. That she knew him by sight was a tribute to her very deep knowledge of the art and architecture which she shared with us.
Guide was amazing. Wonderful sense of humor to match his knowledge. Hit all of the highlights.
Don't remember the name of our tour guide but she was an Italian lady. She was great and she also made sure she made eye contact which make it extra good as you feel like it's a price tour. Skipping the line is a must so this was great, she was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot. Very passionate
Phenomenal Tour Guide, fantastic tour around Vatican and St Peter's Basillica. Would highly recommend it to all of my friends!
This tour was awesome. Our guide Barbara was fantastic. She was very sweet and very informative. Since you are not allowed to speak in the Sistine Chapel, she gave us a very informative talk before we entered which explained the importance of many of the frescos. She had a ton of close up laminated images of the particular Frescos so we could all see in detail and learn about it before we went in. All of the other tour guide groups were all crowded around two small posters that were up instead. She was very thorough and very prepared. Awesome tour!

The Sistine Chapel is the best part but the whole tour was amazing.
