It was nice to have an assured entrance ticket to the Vatican.

A great way of avoiding the big queue at the entrance, but if I had to do it again I'd go ahead and book the full tour with Viator and not just the entrance tickets as their guides are very very knowledgeable and are able to give you lots and lots of information on various subjects. Trust me, I booked a full tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum with them and it was well worth it!

Relatively painless process to cruise the museum at your own pace.

Not sure if there was a line to skip and the Vatican system seemed very efficient but Viator was very good.

We liked skipping the line and wished we had taken their tour after meeting their agents there. They were well spoken, and professional. It was worth skipping the summer lines, and very organized.

When we arrived at the Vatican Museums and saw the enormous line at 8:45 am, we very VERY glad that we had purchased the tickets through Viator. We met the guide at the prescribed location and were led straight into the museum, right past all of the folks standing in line. Within a few minutes, we had our tickets and were enjoying the museum instead of standing in that line. Thanks, Viator!

Fantastic! No lines apart from 25 minutes to pass through security which could not be avoided. Well worth the money.

This tour was well worth the money. We got our days mixed up because of the travel time and got there the day after our booked tour. We got to see the tour but had to pay extra to the tour guide in cash. Tour guide did not have a colorful thing to hold up like other guides and I lost my guide and one point. I think all guides should have a colorful tool to hold high so you can keep up with them because there is so many guides and so many people.

Things went smoothly, and the prepaid tickets are definitely worth it, cutting the wait from 4 hours in 37C sun to 15 minutes in the shade. The self-guided tour was perfect for us. Some of the staff of the other tour agencies meeting at the same place wore distinctive hats or had a more prominent sign than our tour operator's groups. However, the other groups steered us in the right direction; it was only a few meters anyway but caused us a moment of confusion.

It was well organised, and hardly any waiting time. I have recommended Viator to other people visiting overseas.
