Our tour guide was delightful. She taught us so much, and her love for Rome was contagious.,We loved her!
City wonders were highly organised and we were in within 15 mins.
Queues were half a mile long !
We just paid for the skip the line for the Vatican. Instructions were easy to follow and the guide who took is in was very nice! Already booked another excursion in Paris with them for the Lourve!
thank god for line skipping. Vatican museums was a seething mass of humanity and without this i would have been somewhat disappointed. group are friendly and efficient. Do this and follow the short route to the sistine chapel!
We skipped past the line and got right in. Was definitely worth it!
We were just a small group and our tour was amazing-much more than expected. Our guide was knowledgeable and a delightful, friendly person. Would highly recommend.
This was a great tour and had we made the visit to the Vatican on our own we would have missed so much. Dorianne ( hope it is the correct spelling of her name) was fantastic. The information she shared and the photos of what we would see, which was discussed before we entered the Vatican, was very helpful. I would suggest all first time visitors book this tour as a starting point to learning the history of the Vatican.
Great way to skip the lines at the Vatican. We met our guide a few meters away from the entrance to the Vatican and then we walked together as a group to the entrance. In all, it took us about 20 minutes to actually get inside the Vatican. This is NOT A TOUR, this is only a skip-the-line ticket. Once inside the Vatican, you are on your own, the guide is only responsible for getting you inside the Vatican.
The your was good. But what was even better was the High level of service that Viator provides.
We were lucky enough to have one of the Vaticans own guides take us through and he had special access to some areas that the general public can't go. The guide was extremely informative and enthusiastic and we all learnt a lot more than if we had just done a tour on our own. All of the exhibits were amazing and I would highly recommend it.
Great tour. Tour guide that met us was most helpful. If in Rome, a must see.
This 'tour' was really just tickets but the key is you not only get to skip the outside line but also an inside line. Definitely worth the money.
The woman with our tickets met us promptly at the stairs across from the Museums. She gave a basic background talk, and then we were on our own. This is good because it enables you to move at your own pace. All kinds of hawkers are around selling tickets, but we were happy we had prearranged ours. All the exhibits are clearly marked, and the areas are designated with areas, etc. The Sistine Chapel was crowded, and people had to be reprimanded for nosiness. Try to bring a small guide for the ceiling so you can identify the various scenes. This Museum trip is a Rome muse.
Beautiful day, our guide was wonderful, she took us to the best spots, saw everything I wanted, she explained everything about the Sistine Chapel, St, Peters Basilica, we were so glad we decided on the tour
Brilliant! Guide fabulous, very knowledgeable and made the tour fun - great information, presentation and delivery excellent. Few funny stories to make it interesting for teenager who said was the best tour ever and she really enjoyed listening!! Straight to all the major items to view, no hanging around but not rushed, Guide was professional, personable and very pleasant - made it a great experience, would highly recommend.
So well worth the money! Our tour guide was thorough and knowledgeable. We got to see everything we wanted to see and never felt rushed.
Excellent tour, worth the price of admission. We were there on October 6, 2014, a hot, sunny day and it was very crowded. Skipping the line and having a great guide like David providing context and detailed descriptions of everything we visited was invaluable. He was personable, cheerful and extremely knowledgeable about the Vatican, the museum, the Sistine Chapel, the artwork, the gardens, etc. It was such a pleasure to visit the Vatican despite the large crowds and the heat, I would do it again. I would not recommend standing in line and wandering around by oneself if this is a first visit to the Vatican, it would be overwhelming for most. The guide really gets you moving through and provides wonderful insight and information. Bonus: our guide looked exactly like Raphael.
We were so happy to skip the line at the Vatican. We found out that 23,000 would visit there each day. We would not have the time to enjoy the area without these tickets ahead to skip the line. Ken
