Very well worth it. Loved the headsets and ability to hear guide--to prowl around a room while she was giving details and not be huddled in a group straining to hear. Tour was more than 3 hours, and our guide was great--gave us terrific information. Felt a bit cast adrift in St Peters at the end when the guide left us at the entrance, and wish there was at least a handout to help you around. Tip: Get there early early. Our group got a head start because everyone showed up early.

Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The Vatican experience is far too much to handle on your own. This tour was our favorite experience in Rome.

Took all the hassle out of queuing up to buy tickets. Our guide was well informed and answered any question that was put to her. Thorough tour of the Vatican and efficient use of the time booked.

We had an excellent tour guide who spoke English fluently and was well educated in the history of all things related to the Vatican. It was well worth having a prebooked tour as lines were very long and it was extremely hot in August.

A well-organised trip with a very well-informed guide. We knew exactly what to look for in the paintings, which made all the difference when we arrived at the Sistene Chapel.

Awesome! I had no idea how much the Vatican museums had to offer, the superb quality of the work and how overwhelming the museums are! Tour guide fantastic, knew his stuff and was funny too! Would definitely repeat!

Of all of our tours in Italy, this was absolutely the best. The English speaking student was fabulous, the sites were clean and easy to access and the headsets were priceless. You could hear everything the tour guide was saying, no matter how close in proximity you were to her. She explained everything wonderfully and was simply wonderful. THIS TOUR IS A MUST!

This tour is a must for anyone wanting to learn something at the Vatican. Our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. He made learning about the museum exciting. We didn't breeze through the rooms and just go to the Sistine Chapel. We learned a lot about the art and sculptures, got to go through the map room and Raphael Room and then the Sistine Chapel. We only had about 20 minutes in there, which it is a little hard to absorb it all in that time, but there is so much to see. It ended with a self-guided tour of the Basilica. But you got to skip the lines and that is so nice when you are traveling. I didn't have to think about navigating once I got to the Vatican. I am so glad we did a tour because I would have only got a fraction of that information by myself. It was well worth the money! Other people I talked to said they didn't like their tour so it is tour guide dependent but all my tours with Viator.com where great!

Guide was engaging, easy to listen to and shared some great stories in a fashion that was enlightening and fascinating! His command of the language made it easy to understand him, his pace was comfortable too. We didn't feel rushed at all!

Well worth it, our tour guide was excellent and really knew his stuff. If we had not done the tour we would have wandered around aimlessly and we would have missed out on so many really cool things you wouldn't have seen on your own.
