Another great tour. The guide was knowledgeable and was not afraid to let you in on all her knowledge. She went out of her way to make the tour great.
This was a full day at the Vatican on Oct 24, 2015. We had an excellent guide although she occassionaly got stuck in a room as she explain it - her passion of the items was evident. The skip the line is helpful, although everyone got the skip and cause a mass of people - but it was the Vatican and on a Saturday
The tour of The Vatican Museum, St Peters, and The Sistine Chapel was fabulous. Rich in the foundations of the Christian Church, Glorifying to Christ, so awesome in every respect. Our tour guide was terrific. Very knowledgeable regarding the history, and passionate about her work.
Highly recommended tour!
The tour was wonderful. Three hours went by in what seemed like an hour - it was that good. Our tour guide, Shannon, was a fine arts major from Alabama who has lived in Rome for 6 years. As she put it, how great is it that a fine arts major from Alabama gets to call the Sistine Chapel their office! Needless to say, Shannon was informative - AND entertaining. She covered all the major parts that anybody would want to know about, and also shared tidbits of information like fig leaves being added to the male statues to cover the naughty bits and how after seeing Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel and how muscular his people were compared to his own, in the next set of rooms Raphael's people all looked like they now had lifetime gym memberships. Loved the tour - Shannon was awesome!
Loved the tour. Skipping the line is a must, since thousands of people are waiting for their turn. Our guide made it very interesting with lots of insights you wouldnt know otherwise. Totally recommended
I highly recommend this tour which is comprehensive with amazing sights, history and art. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and headsets made it easy to follow along in a group of approx 20. it was great to skip the long entrance lines and it was easy to determine meeting spot
Guide was wonderful and informative. The best way to see the Vatican museums and St. Peter's cathedral.
Great way to learn about the vast history of the Vatican and Catholic church.
the experience with the skip the line was worth every cent our tour guide was a great chap and my Mum and I learnt alot with this tour a huge highlight
I don't remember our guide's name older blonde woman, name sounded like Dorothy. she was excellent and very knowledgeable. The Vatican museum was quite crowded and she seemed to have a knack for finding little corners in which we could hear here well. She kept us together under difficult crowded conditions and really made the tour very worthwhile.
Great tour! Loved having a knowledgeable guide to show us the highlights - could wander around in there for days and miss the best stuff! Definitely recommend.
Our trip through the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's was well orchestrated. Our tour guide Claudia was exceptional in terms of her explanation of what we were viewing her commentary worked for us as adults as well as being relatable to our 9 and 11 year old children who were on the tour as well. She also was masterful at negotiating a busy, crowded museum while staying positive, well paced and keeping us moving too. Our visit to St. Peter's was curtailed a bit by a noon church service, although Claudia filled our time there well while avoiding the sections of the church that were closed at that point. And guiding us on where to return after the tour and church service were finished. All in all, we had a great visit and feel lucky to have had such a wonderful tour guide.
Awesome, our guide was fantastic can't remember her name, how rude of me!!! It was my second tour of the Vatican City and it was better than the first. Beating the crowds with the early morning start made all the difference and as it was a small group it was a more personal experience, loved it and more than happy to recommend to others!
An excellent tour considering the number of people. the number of tour groups and the enormity of art and history that is being covered. Our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, prepared and organized. Immediately handled all equipment problems and continued on.
Sarah was our lovely quirky guide. From start to finish she kept us all informed about the vast array of artefacts on our route through the Vatican Museums. Nothing was a problem for her. She spoke to all with a very fresh and informative air of considerable knowledge. The Pope prevented us from entering the Basilica by going on a walk. The Basilica was closed but Sarah went the extra mile by telling us to wait a while after her tour was finished and then we would get in. She could have cut the tour short, but not Sarah she took us into the Pinacoteca to admire the work of Raphael and Leonardo da Vincis St Jerome. A 5 Star Tour!
IT was outstanding. I would recommend this for others easily. The cost was well worth it!!!!
We had to change our tour due to delayed flight arrangement and they were very accommodating. The guide was very personable and knowledge. We totally enjoyed this trip.
We had a brilliant guide.... Sabrina which made the whole experience so much more rewarding. she showed the best bits to focus on and gave us lots of extra information about the histury and background of what we were seeing. Worth every penny!
The Vatican was beautiful and remarkable. No doubt about it this is a must do tour. It was amazing. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about this tour. I can't imagine going to Rome and not taking this tour. It will take your breath away.
