Great. Made you feel sorry for the enormous cruise ship groups. The early admit made the first 30 minutes of the tour feel pretty special before the massive wave of tourists came in. Make sure you understand that the meeting spot is across the street, on steps next to the cafe, not on the Vatican grounds.

This was a fabulous tour! We had the best tour guide, because he told a story rather than just spit out facts. He was very passionate and knowledgeable about Michelangelo and Raphael and all the history of the Popes and the art that was in the museums. This was a beautiful place, and it was well worth paying for a tour to appreciate it properly!

We can't imagine anyone going to Rome and not doing the Vatican Museums Tour. It was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide was informative and so enthusiastic that it made the wonderful sights we were seeing even more enjoyable. We did find the walk from the Cipro Metro Station quite a hike and were glad we had given ourselves 45 minutes extra time to get to the meeting place. A priest working at the Vatican advised us to go to the stop after that one as it was closer. Signage from Cipro was spotty at most, especially for those of us new to Rome. Bring your own earbuds for the headsets, theirs are large and won't stay in your ears.

This was a great tour. It's well worth it to pay the extra few bucks to go to the 8am tour that starts before the regular opening, plus it's a smaller group. The guide was great, and the stories were very informative.
