It was well worth it! Our tour guide was excellent, very informative. We visited during one of the busiest times of the year, the end of June. We met our tour guide right near the Vatican Museum and jumped ahead of the huge crowd waiting in line for tickets, saving us hours, without a doubt. Great experience, and our kids, ages 11, 13, and 17, learned a lot and loved not having to wait out in the hot sun!

This was a fantastic tour! The meeting point was easy to find and everything was well-organized. The group was a good size. Our guide was wonderful, and she provided great information on the Vatican, its history and its art. I've already recommended the tour to others!

We had an excellent guide: a lover of art and history who was good at telling stories and sharing her passion. The exhibits are beautiful, especially in the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's. We went for the early entry time - 8:10 AM - and I think the lack of crowds inside made the extra cost worthwhile. This was a fantastic experience, and is highly recommended.

Our guide was very knowlegeable and helpful. Headsets were a great help to hear all of the details of the commentary. This was excellent.

This was by far the best tour of our entire trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and an excellent presenter. She had so much information and a well put together plan for giving it to us. She was able to answer any questions with ease. We only had 8 people in the group, which made the tour very personal. The day was very well organized and everything was efficient. We highly recommend this tour. It was worth every dime compared to other tours we booked from our hotel after arrival.

This tour was amazing. The tour guide was amazing. Honestly, I had such a great time and I am so glad that I booked this tour, I would recommend it to anyone. Skipping the line was a plus; the line was long when I got there, even at 9am.

Our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, and the tour was perfect. It was completely worth the money to get in early and see it before the huge mobs of people.

Our guide kept close watch over her charges and led us through the major sites in the Vatican Museums and St. Peters. She hit the best spots, including the Bust Gallery, the Gallery of Maps, the Raphael Rooms, and, of course, the Sistine Chapel. Most of my group was informed about ancient history or art styles, and her level of information was appropriate for them. I'm a professional historian, so it was superficial but she delivered it well. Going in a group of 8 made it much more reasonable, though even on an early morning the museums were packed. Our guide pointed out some of the other things we could see post-tour and did the entire trip with a bright spirit, but also kept a respectful tone at all times. It was a good tour, since I had not been there in 40 years and only had a short time. I recommend it highly. Excellent.
