The guide was wonderful and funny, despite scorching heat. He knew facts that you would not know or learn if you went on your own. I recommend doing the tour and then spending time on your own going through the Vatican
We had a wonderful tour that was lead by Summer. She was fabulous, knowledgable, and sensitive to her charges and the venue. We learned so much about a storied institution and Summer made it all come alive for us.
Very professional tour guide who was very knowledgable and the tour was well worth the money.
Great tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica. Our tour guide, Maria Therese, was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and very informative.
Our guide Marisola was wonderful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We were very happy.
This is a must do tour!! Never wait in a FAR q if you don't need too...don't waste your precious time. Our guide was well informed with history and humor. Taking a tour its much easier to get around as they have time slots. Don't leave Rome without seeing the Vatican!
Super - erudite, knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide. So much to see that you can't dilly dally, but wealth of information provided helps to make the whole experience magical.
Our guide Oscar was very good. It was nice not to have to wait in the long lines.
This tour was well worth the cost. The guide was very good about providing information and explaining what was to come. Her commentary added greatly to the tour. I honestly did not expect to be impressed, but I was. Take this tour if you want to see all points of interest at the Vatican, you want to skip the very long line and you need the background as you walk through the Vatican.
Fantastic tour! Our group was just the right size, the pace of the tour was perfect and our tour guide did a phenomenal job sharing her knowledge. This was a GREAT tour and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to see The Vatican in full. It was also a great way to skip the ridiculously long lines!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and very personable, she called herself 'mama bear'. She organised the tour exceedingly well, we especially appreciated the short break she factored in. St Peter's is one of the most amazing places i have ever seen, you cannot imagine the scale and beauty of the basilica until you see it.
Our tour guide Gigi was excellent, he was very knowledgeable about the artwork within the Vatican Museums and about Michaelangelo and Raphael. The headsets allowed us to hear all the information in this very busy location. He gave us time to take photos and we didn't feel rushed at any point. I recommend seeing the Vatican this way. You'd miss so much doing it on your own.
I highly recommend doing a tour because the guide really helps you get through the massive crowds and makes sure you maximize your time by pointing out all of the best parts. Unfortunately, there was no skip the line option for going to the top of the dome at St. Peter's. The line was massive and we didn't feel like waiting after all that walking around. If one exists, I would definitely get a skip the line for the top the of the dome.
We enjoyed the tour especially Guiseppi out tour guide. I would recommend the Viatour to anyone going to Rome. The processing was smooth, the equipment worked, Guiseppi's knowledge of the Vaticon was outstanding, and the pace of the tour was as good as the crowds would allow.
Our tour guide was awesome! She told all kinds of secrets about different paintings and items. would highly recomment
Guide did great, very informative. The crowds were the only thing that made it difficult.
Great tour guide, great subject! He definitely knows the Vatican and has an excellent grasp of Italian cultural history and figures.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour have reviewed it more extensively on Trip Advisor.
