This is the way to see it all. Our Guide was terrific. You should know that St. Peter's is usually closed on Wed. so you don't get to see it.

Our tour guide was maurizio and he was fabulous! He was very thorough in his explanations and gave us detailed background information and anecdotes which not many tour guides offer. Although we were disappointed that we took the tour on a Wednesday! Five stars to Maurizio!

David is one of the best tour guides we've had, people person, friendly, energetic, witty and keeping everyone interested. Not only he excels in history and explains thoroughly every detail, but he enjoys what he does and keeps it interesting and it shows, and that is reflected onto the group. The tour was fantastic and we were very satisfied on what we learnt and the rest of the time we had exploring ourselves.

The tour was very well organized and our guide was excellent. She was well informed and was very conscientious about not losing anyone and ensuring that all could see and hear her. The Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel were very busy and the crowds were understandably very heavy due to the Easter weekend. The only glitch was that St Peters basilica was closed for our part of the tour due to events relating to the Easter celebrations. All the exhibits in the museum were great and it did not seem rushed although the great crowds of people made it seem that you were being pushed along. Overall it was a very worthwhile tour and I would highly recommend it. The line up to get in must have been a 3 - 4 hr wait...that alone would justify going on this 'skip the line' tour.

David did a wonderful job giving our group so much information prior to and during the tour. Learned a lot and highly recommend going on a tour-- there's so much to see. Being in the group made it easier to deal with the crowds everywhere.

The tour guide, Francesca was wonderful and did a great job despite the crowds. The Vatican museum was extremely crowded the day of our trip and she remained enthusiastic, energetic and kept everyone together in very trying conditions. I would highly recommend her for future tours. She is obviously passionate about Italian art and history and made the tour enjoyable.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, David, was very informative and entertaining. He maintained the proper pace, which allowed us to get to our other planned tour on time, with no worry. His insight and personality made for a great time.

Our guide had such a nice soothing voice (that's important for a musician like me) and she was very entertaining and obviously knew this tour inside and out. The in-ear headphone allowed us to hear every word. Six stars!

I thought the tour was GREAT! Alex, our tour guide was so knowledgable, friendly and wonderful. I would recommend Dark Rome tours in Rome to anyone. Our trip wouldn't have been as good if they weren't included.

A fabulous experience. We were led by Nicholas who was both knowledgeable and funny. The 3 hours whizzed by as we were taken round and showed the different rooms. We opted for the 10am trip which was fine but the sistine chapel was still too busy to stand Still and appreciate it, we were ushered through by the guards, strongly recommend the earlier tour. It was also great jumping the queue at the beginning!!!
