The Vatican was amazing and we are so glad that we signed up for Skip the Line. Our tour guide, Mary Stella, was so full of life and informative. She was so passionate about her job and went the extra mile in her explanations.
Sara N. was a great tour guide. She provided us with 3 hours of information without referring to notes other than to show us pictures to prepare us for the Sistine Chapel portion of the tour. If you get Sara, you are in for a real treat.
Excellent! Our guide, Manuela's knowledge and excitement made the tour so worthwhile!
Great tour guide with detailed know-ledge about the Vatican Museum and its arts as well as the history of the Vatican in general. Impressive.
We could also skip the line completely and entered fast.
Very good organised. A guide who knows what he is doing and knows very much about the things to see. To skip the line on this way was splendid.
If you like learning the history of a place, you will really enjoy this tour. Excellent guides, who took the time to patiently explain the history behind all the major sites, paintings and sculptures within the Vatican.
Great tour, our guide was terrific, so enthusiastic and well-informed! It was extremely crowded in the museum, but that is no fault of yours! We were very happy to be see St. Peter's again, on our own was just fine with us. Very good, would recommend highly. Thank you!
Our tour was hosted by City Wonders the same tour operator of our Colosseum Underground tour. Follow your meet up instructions precisely. The Vatican is very crowded but the tour skipped all lines. Our tour guide was great and led us around to point out exactly what to see since it is very overwhelming and so much to see. There is a lot of lecturing about the Sistine Chapel before going in but every bit of it was helpful when we finally viewed the Chapel. We were left on our own to visit St. Peter's since no tour guides are allowed in. When we exited, we viewed the lines and people would be waiting most of the day to get in. Skip the line is a must.
Sara is AWESOME! Loved listening to her commentary about the art, people and history of the Vatican. She is very knowledgeable. This was my first tour in Rome and I was surprised by the professionalism and knowledge of the guide. Unfortunately we were unable to see St Peter'sWeds tour, but she gave us information on how and when to see St. Peter's later in the day. This tour is a quick overview of the Vatican museums, would like to have had more time to just peruse the museums, but that would take too long. All in all it was wonderful!
David was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He was very knowledgable about the history of Rome, the church and the buildings. He connected well with all the people in the group and held our attention beautifully!
I'm giving this tour 5 stars because our guide did an excellent job. The problem, though, was that Museum and Chapel were so crowded that it was hard to even walk. This totally distracted from the enjoyment of the tour. Our guide, however, made it as easy as she could to follow her and hear her.
Excellent tour, Marie was great, very knowledgeable and friendly.
Absolutely beautiful buildings and grounds. Tour was at an easy pace with a ton of information and history.
Very well organized, informative and we got to skip the lines. There is still some waiting, but once you are there you understand there's no getting around that. Our guide Guiseppe for the 9 am tour on September 22, 2015 was fabulous. I give him 5 stars too. I would definitely do this tour again and recommend to others. BTW we also did the 3 pm tour on the same day of the colosseum, and the forum with viator which I also give 5 stars. Both tours on the same day is do-able and they actually complement each other very well.
Shannon was a wonderful guide. Would highly recommend this tour and her.
It was everything one could ask for. The tour was awesome and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
One cannot go to Rome without a stop at the Vatican. Our guide, Linni, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and had a special talent for positioning the group in the best areas for viewing the various rooms and their key sights. The Vatican and it's a various museums should be seen with an extra allotment of time to really do it justice. This is a must tour and should not be attempted without advance purchased tickets -- the lines are too long.
Awesome tour. Our guide Sev was very informative and showed us some breathtaking sights.
Highly recommend. Great to skip the line. Christina was our guide - she was great! Her enthusiasm was infectious.
the young lady was amazing with information. tour was well done and relaxing with crowds around she got us through effortless brilliant.
