Splendid guide with lots of relevant knowledge. Big crowds but in general managed to avoid worst bottlenecks.

What a lovely place. It is totally worth the visit. Preferably go with a good human guide or guidebook so that you can understand the significance of all the stuff.

This is a necessity if you are going to the Vatican. The lines to get into the museum were literally about one mile long and with this tour you walk right in. It was also terrific to have a native English speaking guide.

This was a fantastic tour. Our tour guide was brilliant, and we found out at the end of the tour that it was her first tour!

Viator definitely made our tour worthwhile and instructive. Our guide was very lively on the history, just have to prepare for a long walk. Outstanding tour!

Fantastic tour! Our guide did a great job in helping us to get some context for what we were seeing. The Vatican is overwhelming, and you can see only a little bit of what's there in a relatively short tour. But with her help, we got much more from our time there than we would have otherwise. And, she even spent a good bit more time with us than was scheduled. It was clear that she was very committed to ensuring that we had the best experience possible. Highly recommended!

Guide and tour were great. However, Vatican security decided that they would not allow an American guide in St Peter's, so we missed the last bit. Not the guide's fault really!

Funny and interesting tour. Our guide was brilliant. Extra bonus being able to skip the line. I would definitely recommend this tour!

After we got there and saw the long queue of visitors wrapping around the block trying to get into the Vatican Museum, we were so glad that we had booked our tour with Viator in advance. We felt like VIP's when we were brought past the queue into the Vatican Museum.

The only thing you need to be aware of with this trip if you do the afternoon tour we found it was too late to go to the top of the dome so you need to go to St Peter's earlier in the day to do this which was a bit disappointing. We did not realise this until after the tour you should mention that you can not go up after 6 p.m but the tour was fantastic. So much to see you can not take it all in.

We my wife and me visited the Vatican on 10th May, a Saturday. The Viator tour was very well-planned, helped us skip the long queues on a Saturday morning, it started on time and our guide was very informative and had a very good sense of humor. All in all a perfect trip. Anyone looking for avoiding the long queues and getting a taste of real history of Vatican Museum, please look no further. This is the tour. Thanks Viator for arranging this for us.

Our guide was a young lady from California who had lived in Rome for about 6 years. She was very knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting historical facts about the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. She made the tour interesting even with the throng of people we had to wade through. It took us less than 30 minutes to get in and we spent more than 3 hours on the tour.
