Guides were good, avoiding the loooong lines and touts was super. The bus in the afternoon was also a welcome change.
Even though I was unable to attend the second half, the Vatican museum and St. Peter's basilica tour was a great experience.
Tour guide in the morning at the Vatican was entertaining and extremely well educated in the Vatican Museums. She made the tour memorable and was by far the best guide we experienced. Our guide for the afternoon at the Basillicas was entertaining, educated and passionate with her commentary. Big thanks to both these ladies. Only issue was not enough time to view the sistine chapel more thoroughly. We should have gone back in out free time.
Our tour on May 14th was wonderful. We saw more than we expected and it all went so smoothly. Thank you for making our visit to the Vatican so great.
It wasgreat we sure learned alot what histroy. the quides were informitive . and smart and funny at times humor is all part of the fun. Also it was great to go to the front of the 1km line up. that Iam sure alot of people waist have there day in. Good job I hope the quides get paid well.
Wow, if we had to have stood in those lines, I don't know if we would have stuck it out. It was amazing, beautiful and so breath-taking. Your guides are so friendly, attentive and really "know their stuff". Thanks a hundred times over.
This was an excellent tour; a fantastic way to see the Vatican Museum highlights and the four major Basilicas, St. Peter's, St. Paul's, St. John's, and Ste. Mary Major all in one day. We literally walked right past 1000's of people waiting in line. Both of our tour guides were outstanding: Frederica at the Vatican for the first half, and Massimo for the bus tour to the three other basilicas in the afternoon. They both shared an extensive knowledge about and a genuine affection for the Vatican and its treasures, which added immensely to the pleasure of visiting these amazing sights. Both of them were able to provide the historical and emotional context necessary to understand what we were seeing and to enhance the whole experience. If you only have a short time visit to Rome, I highly recommend this tour; it's a great way to maximize your time and to enrich the experience.
Superb knowledgeable guide. Only problem was despite skipping the line the Vatican Museum was so crowded.
