The morning tour was ok it was to crowded and very hard to see everything
Tiffany our afternoon guide was the best guide I've ever encountered she was amazing the tour of the basilicas was great she knew anything and everything she was personable and took an interest in all oF us
Excellent tour and the guide Simone was fantastic. His passion really made the tour come alive. Get to see all the important and best parts of the vatican and the great art works and history. Highly recommend this tour. Tip: wednesday has papal mass every week and st peters square is a nightmare!
Brilliant tour by Dark Rome Ltd which encompassed Vatican museums, Sistine chapel, St Peters basilica and in the afternoon several of the other Vatican basilicas in Rome. A very enjoyable day and great value for a whole day of touring. All the guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable about their subjects and I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.
Outstanding experience both the vatican and the basilicas. Did not realize St. Peter was buried here and then in the 3 basilicas that we saw in the afternoon we were really educated. I would say that it would be good to do the St. Peter in Chains (Vitroli) and Basilica of San Clemente in addition to this tour. Had two different guides who were both good.
pricey bit worth it. Nice job by our 2 guides, Graham and Peter
This tour was astounding, and our guide was a delightful woman whose name I've forgotten..Marina? She is an educated woman with special interest in the Vatican. She made sure to inform each of us with as much of the countless details of this splendor as was possible. The day of our tour, there were thousands of guests and although this is a "skip the line" tour, it could not be helped that the thousands of guests at the Vatican did indeed take away from our experience. There was loudness and pushiness and shoving - not at all the fault of the tour. The Vatican guards had to do some yelling at the others for some inconsiderate behavior which also took away from the experience. I write this so the reader will have some forewarning of this also happening to their experience - again, no fault of the tour. The Vatican is the Vatican - with all of its history, both negative and mainly positive. And, the tour -especially guided by (Marina?), was spectacular. I would do this again and highly recommend that others do as well.
It's well organised, but unfortunately the church was closed that afternoon, so we had to go visit other churches outside Vatican City, we did enjoy the tour though.
Great tour because we had very good guides for both morning and afternoon.
Wonderful day!! Skipping the line at the Vatican is the only way to go! Truly enjoyed the forenoon tour of churches, the guide was fantastic!! Thank you so much!
Our tour was an amazing experience and definitely worth it, our tour guide Joseph was very helpful and he made sure that we all had a good time and we couldn't ask for a better tour guide!
It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely go again and recommend it to everyone who goes to Rome.
Great guide with a lovely Irish accent! Very happy we took the trip with you : On a rainy day it is even more important to have a quick way in! We thought that the introduction to the Sistine chapel via DVD presentation was such a good idea: you are well prepared to see the frescoes and appreciate them all the better
We probably would not have been able to see the three other churches belonging to the Vatican as a city trip is usually a bit short. Now, with a bus to get us there and a guide (Peter? ) to show and tell us all about it, .we were able to get the whole picture in one afternoon.
were able to get the whole picture in one afternoon.
