This tour was definitely worth doing if you are interested in history. The chapel of bones is in the middle of Rome, near other tourist attractions, but without the tour you would not even know it was there. The trip to the catacombs was also great and it was convenient being taken there by bus. I think the most fascinating visit of all was the last stop in the Basilica of San Clemente. Again, lots to see and another place that we would not have known existed if we had not been on the tour. The guide was good too.

The tour was very well organized by an excellent guide. The three sections of the afternoon were extremely well introduced and conducted. I was utterly enthralled by each in turn. I certainly got a superb insight into the complexity of buildings in Rome. Having learned for the first time about Midrashic literature in the late 1960's, it was wonderful to meet it again last week, practically face to face! Thank you to our enlightened and enthusiastic guide.

What a wonderful experience! Absolutely amazing to go places so old! Unfortunately we had to rush at the end due to a 30 minute wait for tickets, so much for skip the queue!!

The young female guide had a fabulous presentation, telling stories and history in a way that you took it all in. I recommend this tour.

This was absolutely brilliant. The guide was so good at story telling and made it all seem real and alive. He just made the tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. His way of leading the tour, keeping people together and his knowledge of his subject is second to none.
