Our Guide Stella was very good and helpful. Answered all our questions with and dispelled a few myths at the same time. Could not have asked for a better guide. Brilliant.
this is a must i think , with the underground and the upper tier is a real highlight . palantine hill was also included

4th visit to the colosseum and the very best yet - amazing felt like the arena was alive - loved it would take this tour again and again

Great tour. You actually get to go where the collosseum floor used to stand and then go down to the tunnels where the gladiators use to stay.
It actually poured down rain the entire tour and the guide really made the tour still a great experience

This was one of my favorite tour groups we participated in!! Our tour guide was Sara and she was fantastic and very knowledgable. She really brought to life the ancient era of the Colosseum, the Forum and Palantine Hill. I have nothing but rave reviews of this tour, it was well worth every penny spent! It was also very cool to be able to view the Colosseum from our own private viewing spot (and get away from the big crowds) and then to be able to visit the underground chambers, WOW, just absolutely awesome!

Fabulous tour. Our guide, Itsuk, was lively, full of information, dramatic enough to help us imagine the Coliseum, the Forum and the Palatine area as it was thousands of years ago. It was great to be able to enter the Coliseum before the crowds (although there are many tours doing the same thing) and to be able to go down to the ground level, where the gladiators and exotic animals were held until showtime. Horrific, of course, beginning with the slave labor that built the Coliseum in eight years, but important to know.
So glad we took this tour. Very interesting and not too tiring.
A fantastic afternoon - excellent knowledgeable guide who explained everything fully and readily answered questions from all.
Although our two guides on this tour were great it was not always a group of 12 people as I was advised when I booked.At the begining there were 10 of us as 2 of our party were ill and unable to attend.However we then joined with another group for the underground chambers and I counted 23 people! We moved on to the upper tier with both groups still together but then separated into the 2 original groups for the Ancient Rome part of the tour.I'm sorry but I felt that this was not the trip that I paid a large sum of money for.
Excellent tour in that we were taken to areas of the Colosseum where the general public were not allowed. The guide was very informative and the small group meant no queuing.
Was a fantastic tour highly recommend. Our guide was great and very informative. Spoke English well.
