Amazing tour! Francesca was great. A wealth of knowledge. She really went into detail about the history of Rome, and even explained current events and where people were hoping Rome would be in the future.

Wow!!What a great place the Colloseum was.To be able to access the underground chambers as well as the third tier was amazing.Really worth the money and would recommend to anyone visiting Rome.

Wonderful - so worth spending the extra money for this tour!
Small group with red-haired Rossana as our guide was fantastic - she was very knowledgeable about the area and history.
It was incredible being below the colosseum floor where the gladiators waited for battle, then high above on the top tier with panoramic views of the Forum and Palatine Hill.
Because this tour takes you where most of the public doesn't get to go, you really see, hear and feel the colosseum in a different way than most.
This tour lasted almost four hours but felt like four minutes - the time flew by.
If you can - TAKE THIS TOUR!

This tour was excellent. I loved the audio headsets wo that we could hear our guide! She was from Dark Rome Tours and made the tour super enjoyable. Francesca was amazing!

I really enjoyed this tour and getting to go into parts of the colosseum that are not normally open to the public. There were lots of stairs involved in addition to the considerable amount of walking between colosseum, forum and palatine hill so I would just make sure that visitors are aware of this before signing up for the tour. Claudia was our guide and very knowledgable.
