My husband and I signed up to do the class the last full day of our trip to Italy. Igor was our instructor and it was fabulous! We started our day out doing a walking tour, picked out our fresh food and made our way back to the kitchen. The instruction and demonstration was top notch. The food was the BEST food that we had eaten all week, and we ate well! I came home and recreated a couple of the recipes. I was able to find a few of our recipes on the web site and need to email Igor for a few reminder tips. I wish I had taken notes. My husband and I enjoyed a great week in Italy and this was the icing in cake! Worth every penny!!

Fabio, the chef, was fantastic and the class was a big hit with the 8 of us who attended from our group. Our only complaint is that the Viator website said nothing about us going on a walking tour of Rome as part of this class. Also, the website said there would be a maximum of 8 people in the class. However, we had an additional 2 which came as a surprise to the additional folks who thought that they had booked a private cooking class and found all of us.

This class was so fun and Fabio was wonderful! The food was delicious and I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a take an authentic Italian cooking class.

Our cooking lesson was amazing. From the personal tour around the Jewish quarter to learning the skills of Italian cooking from a master was a highlight. Even with my wife being allergic to cheese they were able to provide dishes that she could enjoy. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys cooking.

Great way to start my stay in Rome. Interesting chef, wonderful home, great food. Fun making pasta and before that a little tour of the ghetto area. Love cooking. Learned a few things.

This experience was one of the highlights for me and my son in Rome. We met Chef Fabio and embarked on an adventure we will never forget. A stroll to the Jewish baker, the butcher, farmers market and fish monger to select the ingredients for our day of cooking was a special treat. Our prosciutto cheese pizza snack along the way that Monica prepared for us while at the butcher was delicious. We saw Rome the way it is intended and avoided the typical cattle hearding tours. The cooking class was so different- no rushing- no waiting in line - personal and delightful Chefs eager to show us a good time and share their skills. Thank you Chef Fabio, Monica, and Igor for making this THE BEST experience we had in Rome. It was truly a Fabiolous Cooking Day!!!

Even though the sights of Rome are fabulous, this was the highlight of our trip! Fabio was an absolutely wonderful host, tour guide, and teacher. We loved the small group and being able to cook in a Roman home. It was a great reminder that, 'yes', we can do this in our home. We highly recommend this experience!

Highly recommend this enjoyable course. Went home with fond memories and a few recipes.
Mæli eindregið með þessari upplifun á Róm. Var einn í fyrrihluta og fékk því að upplifa eldhúsið með kokkunum. Fór heim með góðar minningar og nokkrar uppskriftir

I would definitely recommend this tour. It was one of our favorites. It was like knowing someone in Rome that led you through great neighborhoods and great sites and then you got to go to one of those great old apartments and learn how to cook authentic roman food. Fabio was wonderful, the apartment was wonderful, the cooking was wonderful, the food was delicious!

I must admit to being surprised at how good this cooking lesson was. The tour was interesting, although maybe packing a little too much distance for the 90mins. But the ccoking course was great. I was wary having previously made pasta, and being a fairly keen cook, that this might not be enjoyable. However it was great. It catered for all levels amongst the group of 6 I took, with hands on guidance for novices, and interesting tips, and new approaches for the more experienced. The hosts were great, engaging, and seemed delighted to be sharing their time with us. Lastly the menu took into account too vegetarian/kosher friends fairly seamlessly, with a reasonable alternative for the one meat dish course - which you would of course, expect in Italy! Recommended to all.

This is a great way to get a walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto, experience a Roman market and have fun preparing a feast for lunch! We had a great time - Fabio was very entertaining. It was especially fun learning how to make various pastas. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a different experience while in Rome. And, of course, the food was AMAZING!

This was an amazing cooking class. The day was superb starting by touring the city of Rome and visiting the markets to pick out the ingredients for our meal. Back to the apartment to prepare three pastas, two side dishes and dessert. We were taught to do everything and so much fun! The meal we had together was the best meal we had in Rome, by far! I highly recommend this course to anyone who likes to cook or just likes to eat good food!! It will not disappoint. A wonderful way to enjoy Rome.
