It's hard to go wrong with the subject matter. However, our tour guide really helped to make this tour a day we will never forget. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, good humoured and organised - a true professional. We also had a great group of people in our van so that also made all the difference.

We had a wonderful time. The tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. We learned much about the area we visited. The driver was also excellent. Both were very entertaining throughout the long day.

This is a must-do! The place is stunning with its buildings, landscapes and water views. The beaches in Bermuda are much better, but this place is so different that you have to see it to fully appreciate it. We were in a minivan with two other families who we got to meet over lunch, which we enjoyed. There is a boat ride, which is really great as you get to see the Amalfi area from the water. We had ample time after lunch to buy various gifts. After our time in Amalfi, we went to Pompeii, which was extremely interesting and made all the more so by our tour guide, who knew his stuff. It is amazing how these people lived so many years ago, truly brilliant. This was a lot of fun; make sure you do this! A major highlight of our trip to Italy.

We really enjoyed this trip even though it was unbearably hot in the mid 90's in June. The day was long, we were the first to be picked up at 645 a.m. and returned last at 1000 p.m. The small van was full with 17 of us. Our driver was good and drove the coastal highway nice and slow. Our guide was wonderful. He spoke English perfectly, was very charming and knowledgeable. Pompeii was the highlight especially with our arranged guide. The snack stops at auto stops had horrible food, maybe bring snacks with you. We had pizza in Amalfi, we were starving, it was past 200 p.m. We got off schedule due to a traffic accident on our way to Amalfi. Consequently, we didn't get to spend as much time in Amalfi and Positano as we expected. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs! Very glad we took this tour.

Amalfi and Positano were gorgeous..breathtaking..definitely a must. Charming, a photographers dream. Pompeii was incredible and we learned so much. Amazing artifacts.

Our experience started off badly with a very unreasonable man and his family which made it very uncomfortable for my husband and myself. There were six of them and two of us. The company did their best to appease him and also apologised to us for our unfortunate experience. After all this was settled the day was great, however I do think it is a bit overpriced.

This tour was perfect. We had a small group of just 7 with a guide who was fun and informative from the minute we started. Both he and the driver worked hard to make sure we all had a great time. Pompeii was first and here we had a specialist guide who in 2 hours gave just enough history with a lot of interesting detail (look out for white marble cats eyes in the road). We then took a beautiful drive along the coast road into Amalfi. We had a delicious pizza lunch in a family run pizzeria and still plenty of free time to see all of the town before the boat trip to Positano. After free time in Positano we took the minibus further up the coast for views over Sorrento before heading back to Rome. It was a long day but filled with laughter. A fabulous day that we would recommend to everyone.

Visiting Pompeii was the highlight of my Rome visit. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Originally we planned to see Pompeii in the afternoon but the guides knew that it would rain so they changed our schedule to the morning and we were very glad they did! Driving the beautiful Amalfi Coast is a must see, but be warned that it is a very twisting and winding road. Frequent stops and the small van helped to maximise the experience and make the drive as comfortable as possible. I would not make this trip another way.

Incredible! Anyone in Rome should take this trip. We had great guides and a small tour group, so there was lots of time and flexibility. This one may in fact be worth re-doing.

This was absolutely amazing and definitely one of the best things we did during our 2 weeks in Italy! Our guide was fabulous and even took us to a local restaurant in Rome after the tour was over--for the most authentic Italian meal!
