It was a great trip (on an air conditioned bus!). The tour guide was great. And we would highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, the trip was cancelled because there weren't enough people to run it. We took the trip to Pompeii and Naples instead, which was very interesting but too much walking for my elderly mother.

The tour left on time and kept to time all day. We were a small group of 10. We were given a quick tour of the hidden sights in both towns and then plenty of free time. The lunch was in an idyllic setting with local produce that we could purchase. The wine tasting tour was interesting and again we could purchase. There was no pressure to buy at any time. Our guide was fun to be with and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Tuscany is as picturesque as described.

We had a wonderful tour guide!! She gave us a good amount of information. The cities we visited were great. Not enough time at each place. Lunch was not very good, but the location was nice.

It was a very pleasant experience. Tuscany is peaceful and beautiful. The little villages were lovely. The trip to Italy was part of our honeymoon, and this tour was a nice break from hectic Rome.

Very nice. The scenery was beautiful, the guide was informative, and the food was pretty good. The figs were in season and to die for. The wine was quite average, but we didn't do the tour for the wine tasting.

This was a good way to see the Tuscan countryside and small towns. The coach was very comfortable, and our guide was excellent. We found him very pleasant and informative. We were not impressed with our lunch, and my friend had specifically asked for something other than meat, but this request was not obliged. The driver was pretty erratic but probably typical of Rome drivers.

Great overall trip! We were the first trip of the season and the guide was excited to be back on the trail! A nice mix of countryside towns and plenty of time to explore on your own. Cortona was fantastic, nice shops - buy your wine and cheese there because there is not much in Multipulciano other than the fantastic views and the Contucci Wine Shop which was great to buy wine. Long drives, nice lunch stop, and a worthwhile trip. The biggest disappointment was the name of the tour - we expected to actually get to taste food and wine as a part of the tour, not the case, but were rather exposed to small town life and did get a generous FREE tasting at Contucci.

This was a nice trip, but the bus was small and very uncomfortable. It should have been a full-size bus. The lunch in Umbria was horrendous, just a bowl of plain spaghetti. Other than that OK.

It was an ok tour. Unfortunately it was a rainy day. We spent about 20 minutes of the whole trip tasting wine. I thought that would be more of a center of attraction in Tuscany. The small bus we took had really cramped seats. It felt like the seat in front of me was 5 inches away from my face. Be aware that there is walking involved here. A hill up to Cortona and another long hike up to Montepuluciano. I felt bad for the 80 year old lady that was on our tour.

The vehicle had no heat on a freezing cold wet day. I felt like we should have gone to more wineries than just 1. I was disappointed with the entire trip.

After joining a bigger tour which took us all over Italy, this smaller day tour which took us to Chianti and Umbria was nothing special. It takes you to Cartona, a small town, and Montepulciano, another small town, to taste some wine. You'll be given around forty minutes of free time in each town. It's nice and quiet, but nothing new if you've seen other places in Italy.
