Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

It was a well organized trip and the sights were all fantastic. It would have been better if we had more time in the locations, particularly since the itinerary stated that the excursion was to last an hour and a half longer. Also it seemed like we were pressured to buy goods from the restaurant that we visited as well as the gallery we were taken to. We would consider using Viator in the future despite these incidents.

Unfortunately, the trip was cancelled because there weren't enough people to run it. We took the trip to Pompeii and Naples instead, which was very interesting but too much walking for my elderly mother.

The tour left on time and kept to time all day. We were a small group of 10. We were given a quick tour of the hidden sights in both towns and then plenty of free time. The lunch was in an idyllic setting with local produce that we could purchase. The wine tasting tour was interesting and again we could purchase. There was no pressure to buy at any time. Our guide was fun to be with and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful tour guide!! She gave us a good amount of information. The cities we visited were great. Not enough time at each place. Lunch was not very good, but the location was nice.

It was a very pleasant experience. Tuscany is peaceful and beautiful. The little villages were lovely. The trip to Italy was part of our honeymoon, and this tour was a nice break from hectic Rome.

Very nice. The scenery was beautiful, the guide was informative, and the food was pretty good. The figs were in season and to die for. The wine was quite average, but we didn't do the tour for the wine tasting.

This was a good way to see the Tuscan countryside and small towns. The coach was very comfortable, and our guide was excellent. We found him very pleasant and informative. We were not impressed with our lunch, and my friend had specifically asked for something other than meat, but this request was not obliged. The driver was pretty erratic but probably typical of Rome drivers.

Great overall trip! We were the first trip of the season and the guide was excited to be back on the trail! A nice mix of countryside towns and plenty of time to explore on your own. Cortona was fantastic, nice shops - buy your wine and cheese there because there is not much in Multipulciano other than the fantastic views and the Contucci Wine Shop which was great to buy wine. Long drives, nice lunch stop, and a worthwhile trip. The biggest disappointment was the name of the tour - we expected to actually get to taste food and wine as a part of the tour, not the case, but were rather exposed to small town life and did get a generous FREE tasting at Contucci.

The word "food" is what got our attention, and there really wasn't that much to taste. A few bites of cheese and meat, and that was all. Same for the wine, but the scenery of the tour was quite something. I would go back just for that. The outskirts of Rome, the countrysides are simply magnificent.

The Tuscan countryside was beautiful, but it really wasn't a "food" tour. We did stop to have lunch and the pasta was good, but the meat was not good at all. On the restaurant premises, they had a small store where you got a small piece of cheese and a shot glass of wine. You had the option to purchase these items if you wanted. It was not a food tour. We stopped in two other towns, saw a wine cellar and were encouraged to go shopping and take advantage of any "samples" the locals were offering. It was a nice little trip, but not worth it for what we were expecting. We expected a food tour - I have to repeat, this is not a food tour. The tour guide spoke in montone, and I don't think he was too into the tour himself.

The Tuscan country side was amazing and was the highlight of this tour. The scenery was indescribable! Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable in the beginning, but appeared to be annoyed towards the middle of the day. This was observed by others as well. I would recommend the tour, but be sure to inform the travelers of the inclines and many steps involved. I would have loved to do more wine tastings.

Even though I had paid for this tour weeks before arriving in Rome, it was cancelled due to lack of participants. The ad says nothing about a minimum group size. Luckily I had packed my laptop and could see about other tours. Viator was able to get us on the Capri tour at no extra charge but we really wanted to go to Tuscany.
