Had a good time. Got to see lots of nice scenery. I did this tour as well as Assisi and Orvieto. I recommend not doing both tours because you see alot of the same sights. You have lunch at the same place on both tours and it really isn't that great of a place.

This was a nice trip, but the bus was small and very uncomfortable. It should have been a full-size bus. The lunch in Umbria was horrendous, just a bowl of plain spaghetti. Other than that OK.

It was an ok tour. Unfortunately it was a rainy day. We spent about 20 minutes of the whole trip tasting wine. I thought that would be more of a center of attraction in Tuscany. The small bus we took had really cramped seats. It felt like the seat in front of me was 5 inches away from my face. Be aware that there is walking involved here. A hill up to Cortona and another long hike up to Montepuluciano. I felt bad for the 80 year old lady that was on our tour.

The vehicle had no heat on a freezing cold wet day. I felt like we should have gone to more wineries than just 1. I was disappointed with the entire trip.

After joining a bigger tour which took us all over Italy, this smaller day tour which took us to Chianti and Umbria was nothing special. It takes you to Cartona, a small town, and Montepulciano, another small town, to taste some wine. You'll be given around forty minutes of free time in each town. It's nice and quiet, but nothing new if you've seen other places in Italy.

The tour company was not one that I would ever take any more tours with. The driver was sullen and unfriendly. The tour guide's only goal was to sell us products from the two spots we stopped at and he was very brazen about it. The only taste we got was at the lunch which was embarrassing!!

This tour was not anywhere close to being worth the money my daughter and I paid for it. The guide was not helpful at all. Whenever she took us into a shop to taste food or wine she did not allow people to look around or shop. She barely gave enough time to enjoy what we were tasting, we felt like we had to shove it in our mouth and run out. If I were a shop owner or the person doing a wine tour I would not want to participate with this company. The streets in these cities are very steep and we had quite a few older people in our group that needed more time. She did not bother to walk slower and make sure that everyone was with her. When it came to giving history and share stories of this beautiful land the guide fell very flat. It was very clear that she was just reading from a text. The 'authentic' Italian lunch was absolutely disgusting pasta with no flavor and some type of mystery meat and the waitress made it quite apparent that she was not happy to have us there. We spent 4 days in Italy and had a fabulous time except for this particular day.
