Laura lead our tour to Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este and we enjoyed every minute of our experiences. Laura shared interesting facts and history of both places and gave us insight into the motivations and practices of those who lived there. The ruins of Hadrian's Villa were much more extensive that we had anticipated and walking through the park and viewing the remnants of buildings with a knowledgeable guide brought the experience to life. Villa d'Este must have some of the most spectacular gardens anywhere in the world and we had plenty of time to enjoy the place and take amazing photographs that we will treasure.

What a delightful day we spent in the Roman countryside, seeing the old and "new" villas outside of Trivoli.

We had a thoroughly good time on this trip which was good value for money. The timing was excellent and all the staff we met were helpful and courteous. Priscilla our guide made all the difference. She had excellent English, she was very well informed, she listened to questions, didn't just say her lines and move on to the next thing. She worked hard with great energy. There were only 9 of us so March seems to be a good time to go. The two sites are so big it would take a lot of visitors to feel over crowded.

The tour was really great, Serena our tour guide was so informative and a lovely friendly person that we could ask anything of. This tour is well recommended as a must, the only snag was the rain! but apparently March is the rainy season, in the end I believe due to our great guide she made the day unforgettable.

We had been looking forward to this day for months. But thanks to our small group's astonishing guide, it was far more than we expected. Priscilla, a Rome archaeologist (we won't mention she's also a line dancer!) and a really nice and insightful person, gave us that rarest of gifts - understanding. This was not just a day of wanding past old rocks and shards of history. This was an intimate contact with the western world's past. Thank you. Wayne and Linda, Bendigo

This was definitely the best tour I have ever enjoyed. It was perfectly organised and conducted, and while some of the credit for the trip must go to the Emperor Hadrian, our extremely knowledgeable guide Priscilla and Massimo, our patient and charming driver, both did so much to contribute to the enjoyment of the day. Both in their different roles were brilliant. Priscilla knew the answers to everything we asked and really made history come alive. I will definitely recommend this trip to friends visiting Rome.
