This was an excellent tour. The meeting point was a bit difficult to find but impressed with our tour guide's knowledge. Both sites were definitely worth seeing. We would highly reccomend this tour!

An outstanding trip to the remains of Hadrian's palace in Tivoli, then to the Renaissance Villa L'Este with its extraordinary fountains/gardens. Larissa, our guide, was not just knowledgable, she was unstintingly helpful. Though it rained, the day was a great success.

The guide was excellent very informative, I could not decide between Capri and this trip, more than one person told me this was the best trip they had done on their vacation. It was a wonderful day and I highly recommend. Wish I could go again and spend some more time, it was too short a trip

Alfredo was an excellent guide and provided very helpful commentary on what we saw. I think the duration was just right, and I can't imagine seeing both Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa in less than a (almost) entire day.

Great guide-Larissa, very knowledgable and friendly.
Preferred the Villa D"Este to Hadrian's Villa, plenty of free time to wander around the Villa D'Este. Would recommend this tour for a day out of Rome.

The tour guide was SUPERB. I wish all tour guides were this good. Extensive knowledge of archeology and history. Spoke excellent English. Fascinating commentary - friendly. Expertly paced. I cannot remember her name, but she is a native Spaniard and was a student of archeology.

Our full day visit to Hadrian’s Villa and Villa D’Este inTivoli was wonderful. We booked the tour at Viator’s site and it appeared that the tour was actually given by the tour company Enjoy Rome. We had a very small group, my husband and I, and another couple. I considered Hadrian’s Villa and Villa D’Este among the must see for our Rome visit and worried that our tour could be cancelled if there were not enough people. But our tour went on with just 4 of us. Enjoy Rome did a great job. As a start, the direction to the office of Enjoy Rome was very clear with a map. Our tour guide Priscilla was very knowledgeable about the history and the villas. With her explaining, ruins seemed to come back to live and tell the stories from near 1800 years ago. We were not merely looked at rubbles and buildings, we were viewing the lifestyle of ancient emperor and dignities. We would have definitely not got so much out of the visits to these two villas had we gone there by ourselves (not to mention the confusion on how to get to Hadrian’s Villa). It is time and money well spent on this tour. Our driver was also very friendly, provided candies in the vehicle and gave each pair of us a small souvenir. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants see these two villas!

This trip was a wonderful respite from the frantic pace of Rome. The fountains at Villa d'Este are a world-class wonder and Hadrian's Villa was a great chance to tour a major ancient site without the mobs found at areas like Pompeii. Our guide was friendly and well-informed. Highly recommended!

For anyone who wants to escape the queues and hustle and bustle of Rome this trip is well worth the money.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about both sites and made the day very enjoyable. Probably the highlight of our visit to Rome.

This was our third trip to Tivoli, so we did not expect much of anything new. However, our guide, Priscilla, was very well informed and had much information to relate on both Villa Adriana and Villa D'Este that we were not previously aware of. The tour was very well organized at both sites, and used the time allotted our best advantage, showing us the highlights of both sites without us ever feeling that we were being rushed through.. The group size was very manageable (14), and the bus was very modern and comfortable. Given all of the factors, including price (relative to a private tour), quality of transportation, organization and quality of the guide, I would say that this tour is a must do if you have an extra day in Rome.
