Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour from Rome. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Our tour guide was Stephanie and she was awesome. The guides have a huge influence on the enjoyment of the tours. Bus had large seats and we truly got a good exposure to Tuscany. For one day we saw a lot and did a lot. All beautiful and interesting, especially the 12th century Gregorian Church/Abby which was stunning. My only suggestion is to change the 2nd course at the winery as it wasn't very good. But the first course, Antipasti plate and wine were delcious.
Great day! Enjoyed Montalpuciano and the guided tour. Lunch was absolutely delicious and in such a beautiful setting. Pienza on our own was a delight.
We just arrived in Rome the day prior, and had no idea what to expect from this tour. I am confident in saying it exceeded our expectations! We had so many "pinch me" moments, from wandering the streets in Montepulciano with the gorgeous views, to eating lunch in the vineyard owner's cellar and sampling his amazing wines. The scenery was amazing, the guide was fantastic, and our trip was so memorable. We would tour with Viator again in a heartbeat!
This was a great tour. Peter was excellent tour guide the towns and countryside where beautiful food and wine were good
OUr guide Lindey was fantastic. humourous, knowledgeable and energetic.
the views were captivating, and i especially liked Sant Antimo Abbey where we made it in time for the chanting. Its just so peaceful. lunch at the vineyard was the highlight as we had lunch in the cellar!
my favourite must be Montepulciano.
One of best tours of our trip to Italy! Our guide, Peter was absolutely fantastic! Lunch and wine testing at winery was excellent. We would highly recommend this trip to everyone!
It was operated by a local tour company called Dark Rome Tours, Peter was our tourguide and he was absolutely phenomenal. So glad I took this tour, wish that it lasted longer!
One of the best tours ever. It was a full compliment on this tour and our guide Peter was fantastic. His humour, information and interaction with the group made the trip. He gave us lots of tips on the do's and don't whilst in Rome, the best eats and "watering holes." The coach was modern, viewing unrestricted, plenty of leg room and comfy seats that reclined. The scenery and places visited were delightful, medieval towns that oozed charm and quaint shops, loved the wine tasting and lunch. A definate must do you won't be disappointed.
Peter was a great guide. Would come back to rome just todo the trip again.
My family and l loved this tour. Amazing guides, amazing food and amazing scenery
Excellent tour with Dark Roman. Beautiful and relaxed tour of the country with a fabulous luncheon at a winery with wine tasting. Good value and worth every penny.
This tour was amazing and our guide Peter was knowledgeable and entertaining as was Stefania. This tour is definitely a must do while in Italy.
This was the most beautiful and amazing tour, we saw so many breath taking sights, our guide Violet was so friendly and informative about the history and heritage of Tuscany. She was good fun and made the tour so enjoyable and our lunch at the winery was absolutely scrumptious and the wine was plentiful. We had the best day and would highly recommend this tour as a must .
We stayed at the Marriott Grand Hotel Flora, and were able to walk to the meeting place at Piazza di Pipolo for the early departure, so the central meeting place was perfect for us. Our two guides, Hectore and Dario, were fun, lively, and knowledgeable. The countryside and hilltop towns were beautiful, but the best part was certainly the lunch served by a wonderful Italian family. The atmosphere was rustic, the facilities clean, the people friendly, and the food and wine were delicious. It was a long day, but we had a great time, and highly recommend this trip to anyone who only has time to see a slice of Tuscany.
