This was excellent. Our guide was wonderful. She was informative and really enjoyed what she did. It was a great breakfast setting and the tour was amazing. I highly recommend it.
The entire experience was just beautiful! Our Guide, Rachel was so much fun, and so knowlegeable! Seeing the Gardens, the Breakfast, and just everything was great! Highly Recommend going this early as to avoid the huge crowds that come later.
I can and #39;t recommend this tour enough. A great way to see the Vatican. The breakfast buffet was good. Our tour included a trip around the garden which was a highlight. Tiffani our guide was very informative and had a lot of knowledge about the Sistine Chapel and #39;s paintings. The pace was good.
The tour was great. The guide Lindy (I think that and #39;s her name) was really good, very knowledgable and a great communicator. She explained everything in detail and it was very informative. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a detailed visit of the Vatican. Breakfast was great!
The Vatican garden tour was a nice touch! Our guide was so knowledgeable. She brought the Vatican to life
excellent tour with a great tour guide will recommend to our friends
Wow ! Just beautiful. Breakfast was very nice, but would have preferred to get in earlier to avoid the crowds. Seve was great and full of info. Well worth it.
simply wonderful, the hours flew by, Landy sp? our tour guide was fun, smart, informative, beautiful and kinda, PERFECTO
Absolutely the best way to see the Vatican, unless the Pope invited you himself! We had breakfast in The Pinecone courtyard , which featured Vatcian milk only produced and sold here the early access to the museums, Sistine Chapel and Basilica. No crowds!! Expensive, but so worth it. Our guide Suzanna, was perfect. She talked and explained just enough, but allowed time to ponder what we were seeing. Perfect tour!
The tour guides met us on time at the designated location.Everything went according to plan except that rain was in the forecast. The breakfast had to be relocated indoors. It did end up raining so that was a good call on their part. The group was small as advertised. No surprises, a good value.
This is truly one of those once in a lifetime opportunities. The only criticism is that I wished the tour could have ended at the Vatican Museums as opposed to beginning at the Vatican Museums. If you want access back to the Museums then you have to buy another ticket and start over again.
What a fantastic experience? Loved the entire tour and breakfast in the pine cone card was so memorable. Highly recommend this tour.
This is absolutely the best way to see the Vatican! We did not have to fight the crowds at all! We had a wonderful tour guide who gave us lots information in a fun and enthusiastic way. The breakfast was very good. I cannot say enough about how much more relaxing and comfortable it was seeing the Vatican in such a relaxed and less crowded way. Definitely would recommend this tour to anyone!
This was a great experience! Our guide was energetic and informative and knowledgeable. It was great to see Vatican City without all the crowds! I highly recommend this tour!
This was great and the breakfast outside was amazing. Our guide, Nicola made the tour awesome and we saw and learned so much it was terrific. He was very informative with his extensive knowledge. He was great at not leaving anyone behind and very personable with our group of 17. Thank you Nicola.
We started with a lovely breakfast at the vatican. After that the tour guide was very informative and the tour was very comprehensive. Lots of walking, lots to see. Well worth doing this tour with breakfast as it is truely special
This tour far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was very good. The drive around the grounds was very interesting and of course the tour of the museum and the Sistine Chapel was amazing. Our guide was Lindy and she was fantastic. Don't go on a Wednesday as the Pope is using the church and it is excluded from the tour that day.
Lovely breakfast followed by a well paced and informative tour. The art information in historical context brought the museum and the Sistine Chapel to life. In and out before big crowds and plenty of time to do something else in the afternoon. FYI - avoid the scrambled eggs!
This really was a wonderful experience with great access to the beautiful places in the Vatican and a very knowledgeable guide. At the start our group was almost alone for much of our tour then the crowd grew but we our guide knew where to take us and explained the history and artwork beautifully. It was a highlight for us of our trip to Italy.
A great chance to beat SOME of the crowds. The Vatican is a big place, don and #39;t expect empty rooms and corridors though, especially in the Sistine Chapel. It and #39;s just an improvement.
The breakfast is great though and is a real chance to enjoy the old courtyard.
Dario our guide was knowledgeable.
. I highly recommend this tour. It was very enjoyable. Our guide was Tiffany McIver. She was recently named the top tour guide of some 400 Vatican guides. She is an American who has lived in Italy for the past 10 years. Her academic background is in humanistic studies covering history, philosophy and the arts. She is extremely knowledgeable and very personable.
The tour started early with a 7:00 am rendezvous near The Vatican. This is a small-group tour limited to less than twenty people. Our group was about 16. A very nice breakfast buffet awaited us in The Vatican cafeteria. This included American and Italian foods eggs and breakfast meat along with cheese, breads, pastries, coffee, tea.
Following breakfast we boarded a small bus for a tour of The Vatican Gardens. This
is a recently added feature of the tour to a previously restricted part of the Vatican. We then disembarked for a tour of The Vatican Museum. Throughout the tour Tiffany gave a running commentary of what we were seeing. Her descriptions were filled with interesting, entertaining details. We were each equipped with headsets so hearing her was not a problem. The Museum Tour concluded with a visit to The Sistine Chapel. The final part of the Vatican Tour was a visit to Saint Peter's Basilica.
In all the tour took about 3 and 1/2 hours. It was delightful. Tiffany proved to be an ideal guide in fact, she just may be the best tour guide we've yet had the pleasure of encountering. The Tour involves a fair amount of walking. Not many stairs need be negotiated. It does allow jump-the-line access to The Vatican Museum. Highly recommended.
What an experience! Not one to be missed! The breakfast was so GOOOODD!! The fresh pancakes made right there for you were to die for! The view of the pine courts were incredible and the Sistine chapel was breathtaking! Our guide was super helpful and has lots of information for us! Amazing!
