When we arrived to go on this tour we were met with the most beautiful sunrise. We took some photos one of which we got made into a canvas and now hangs on our wall at home. We were greeted by a member of staff and shown onto the boat and although the boat could hold 300 people and only 8 arrived for the sailing the trip went ahead. The tour and food were top class and I can't thank the captain and staff enough as this trip was one of the highlights of our holiday.
Excellent. Combined a hot buffet lunch with an ever changing beautiful scenery.
Had a really relaxing and peaceful breakfast cruise! The food was great, but the staff were amazing! Really enjoyed this cruise!!
Wonderful, relaxing, beautiful views, and friendly staff. The food was great and had plenty of variety. A realy enjoyable afternoon was had by all on board.
Loved Rotorua, the Paddle Boat was great. Food was really nice, well worth the money. And was very happy with Malfroy Motel, Ron the owner couldnt do enough for us, very clean and pretty garden. We will definately be back and stay at Malfroy again. the negative side we could have stayed another week. Would love to go on the Paddle Boat again. Loved Rotorua, was my favourite place.
We took the breakfast cruise and what a great start to our day. The crew were great from welcoming us aboard through to our departure back at the wharf. Breakfast was well prepared and presented and would have catered for any dietary needs. The cruise was very pleasant with a good commentary.
What a wonderful afternoon and beautiful lunch we had. absolutely awesome experience. would reccomend it to anyone. thankyou.
This was a good tour for views of Rotorua from the lake. The food wasn't good and it was cold. The service was good though.
The cruise was lovely and staff were very welcoming and friendly but the food was average....it was cold and it had been sitting for a while. Would still highly recommend it though it was a lovely way to start the day.
Loved the experience, the food was great, my wife is a vegetarian and she had plenty to eat. Perhaps a savoury could be provided but this is not necessary as there was plenty. Was a bit disappointed there was not very much history of the lake given during the sail. Otherwise I would recommend this to all of my friends.
I enjoyed our breakfast cruise. I wouldn't say there was anything to actually see, it was just about cruising on the lake. An hour is really a perfect amount of time. I thought the staff were especially nice.
We enjoyed this trip with lunch but it would have been better if it had gone on for longer. An hour is not long enough to see the lake as you would like to.
Food was not so good
Choice of lamb flap was so fatty and very small chicken legs with no real tast
Salads were ok but over all it was below the standed
Mass catered breakfast, and a boat 'tour' that just goes up and down with poor commentary.
What a great idea, such a shame about the food. Breakfast was just awful. With better quality food especially for the price this would have been a fabulous morning.
We travelled to Rotorua from Hamilton as part of a work team day especially to go on the Boat Cruise and have lunch.
We were disappointed that the cruise lasted exactly an hour with very poor commentary on the surrounding landmarks.
The food was below average - an uninviting mix of foods.
Definately not worth the $55 per person (once the booking fee was add) even though the booking was done as a group. Would not be recommending to anyone else.
