Tours, sightseeing tours, activities & things to do | Viator.comStep off the well-trodden tourist trails and explore Borneo's rugged countryside. Stop by an orchard for a panoramic view of the forested hills north of the city. On a clear day you will be rewarded with majestic views of Mt. Kinabalu in the distance.
Explore a typical Dusun village on a 30-minute trek, walking across a hanging bridge and crossing mountain rivers (water level varies from knee to thigh high). Enjoy a relaxing dip in the soothing waters of a fast flowing river, nature's natural jacuzzi!
End your tour with a tiffin lunch, a remnant of Colonial custom, as you take pleasure in the rustic surroundings off the beaten track.
Note: This tour gives an insight to life in remote Borneo. There are no toilet or changing rooms along the trail. You may want to wear your swimwear underneath your clothes. Depending on the trek chosen, there may be certain portion of the trek where you may have to cross river up to knee or thigh level. Trail may be slippery and uneven. You are advised to wear shoes with good grip. Length and location of trek will be adjusted based on local conditions.
