I absolutely loved it and it was much better than I thought. I was absolutely amazed by mountains and the views. I would recommend it to anyone and would love to go there again.
This wasn't our first pick of tours, but the others were unavailable because of the time of year we went but we are so glad. It was beautiful and I learnt more about the area and the history than I thought i would. We were lucky because although there was snow on the ground it was sunny and warm. Loved it and would highly recommend it.
Guide was super!!! Wiews were most beautiful I have ever seen.
The drive into the Bavarian Mountains was absolutely beautiful. Travelling from Australia we just wanted to get into that snow that we were expecting to be everywhere in Europe, but due to the warmest European winter for some time we had to travel up to the mountains to see it and feel it, but it was well worth waiting for. The lakes were so peaceful. Our tour guide Michael could have been a little more talkative.
Guide (Natacha) was amazing - informative and friendly. Great local knowledge, scenery was fantastic.
Great tour to go if you have sometime to spare when in Salzburg and love mountians.
Awesome tour with incredible sights. Our guide was amazing and spoke six languages! We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next day for the lake region tour!
Great tour! Our tour guide Walter was superb! A rather fast tour, but hghly recommended. Exceptional mountain and country side beauty. Not sure how this tour would be if Walter is not the guide. He made all the difference!
My husband and I really enjoyed this tour! Salzburg has beautiful mountains and King's lake was awesome! It was also amazing to see Hitler's Eagle's Nest (even from a distance). We wish that we had enough time at the King's lake area to ride the boat to see St. Bartholoma church and other beautiful sceneries on the other side of the lake. Other than this, it was great!
We had a wonderful guide- Anna - a Barcelona native. She customized out rour based on our needs and the local customs and holiday traffic conditions - we rerouted based on holiday traffic and had an amazing experience with absolutely no delays. Definitely worthwhile! Annette, Evan and Reed Mason
Was a great experience for the first timer. Worth doing for people staying a short time and without a car.
Excellent guides and most enjoyable - this despite weather which was overcast and dreary. wholeheartedly recommended.
The Alps were beautiful and the villages interesting. Wonder why there is no morning tour, it would be better.
We enjoyed the tour. Austria and the Bavarian Alps in Germany are beautiful.
I ended up doing the mountains and lakes tour instead of this one - beautiful, but unnecessary if you've done the salt mine/sound of music tour. Bavarian mountains are beautiful though, even in the rain.
Our guide was good but I didn't like that he left 5 people off the buss because they were late more than 5 minutes.I don't know how they came back to Salzburg.I thought that we would visit Eagle's nest but we only saw it on the top of the mountain from the distance.Your information was misleading.
The sights on this tour are amazing; however, combining our bus with other tours that had different itineraries (ie. Salt Mine) meant that we had to spend time dropping them off and picking them up. This cost us nearly 45 minutes of time we could have been enjoying the sights. Our guide was OK but he really didn't provide much 'guiding'. We really like the walk around Echo Lake in Konigsee. What a beautiful area this is but we just would've like some more time. The visit to Berchtesgaden Village was very nice as well but again our time was short. I would recommend this tour during high season when you are not combining it with other tours.
This tour ended up being pretty boring and not really worth the time. They should add a stop somewhere in the mountains where you can at least take great pictures and a boat cruise on the kondesee
