This evening includes a delicious 3 course candlelit dinner, prepared according to traditional recipes from Mozart's era. The most popular compositions of W. A. Mozart are performed in candlelight by local musicians in historical costumes including two opera singers and musicians performing "A little night melody" as well as with arias and duets from operas "Don Giovanni", "Le Nozze di Figaro" and "The Magic Flute".
Stiftskeller St. Peter is situated in the heart of Salzburg's old town, and the "oldest restaurant in Europe". It was first documented in the year 803, during Charlemagne's visit. A brilliant experience - don't miss it!

Enjoy a delicious three course candlelit dinner, prepared according to traditional recipes from the 17th and 18th centuries.
You will dine where the monks created the oldest restaurant in history, sampling delicacies of the old world, in the enchantingly lit Stiftskeller St. Peter. Each course will be served in the intermissions so you can savor the moments, music and beauty of this amazing baroque room.
- A cream soup flavored with lemon, wine and a hint of cinnamon
- Roasted Capon (kind of chicken) breast on a bed of polenta with a truffle-sage cream sauce, potatoes and vegetables from Father Prior's garden
- A semi-fredo honey parfait with fruit and delicious sauces!
The menu is subject to change, and vegetarian dishes are available upon request (at time of booking).

Fantastic. For lovers of classical music, it was a wonderful evening. Even if this is not your favourite type of music the evening was most enjoyable. Food was excellent and so was service.
