Absolutely Fantastic! Naomi is an excellent tour guide who made the whole experience one to be remembered with her excellent humour and knowledge. She catered for every ones needs by pointing out extra info on the town's history. We saw all the sights - breathe taking views etc. There was plenty of time to sit down and have tea- apple strudel and shop. We didn't want the tour to end :). This was well worth the money. We are not "guide tour people", we would prefer to do things on our own but we felt the need for a guide with the amount of people and possible questions. The guide was very patient and didn't rush us through the sites but did keep us on a good schedule. Excellent friendly and personable service!
We had an amazing time on this tour. Our tour guide Naomi was informative, kind and just made us feel welcome and was willing to help in any way. The sights were beautiful too. Just fyi though - for avid picture takers that hate to use the flash might be better to pick the morning tour or wait until the summer when you have more natural lighting for longer. Overall great tour and will recommend to anyone. This is my second tour with viator and both times have been wonderful.
The tour was outstanding. Their were 6 of us (all friends) in our little tour bus and our tour guide David did an exceptional job of educating us on the history of Salzburg and all of the "inside" information about the SOM - very relaxed and informal. We had plenty of time for pictures including a stop for refreshments. Would highly recommend the private tour and David as the tour guide.
Our private guide Michael was excellent. He was informative and friendly and his English was very good, so that made it very easy for us to understand. We enjoyed seeing the locations of the Sound of Music . We recommend a personal tour to our friends, as you can get a little more insight and information.

Excellent tour with a great tour guide who spoke excellent english. he showed us lots of places and knew his stuff very well. Private tour is the way to go. there were 6 of us on this in a mini van.
The private tour give you a personal insight you would never get with a group tour. Our guide was an excellent historian and was able able to go places the bus could not.
Our tour guide was an exceptional person with lots of talent and very nice voice by singing all the Sound of Music songs to us. Also, she is very attractive person with lots of energy.
We had a great tour guide on our private tour but I was expecting to actually stop and go to see many more spots close up rather than just hear about them from the van.i.e.-going into the Mirabella palace park and up to the cemetery. We had to do these on our own afterwards which I expected to do on our private tour that I had booked for this reason. Our guide was excellent and very enjoyable to have for the 4 hours. We unfortunately had lots of rain but he still made our time enjoyable.
An amazing tour, our guide and driver was extremely knowledgeable about the film, locations, and related anecdotes. She entertained the four of us throughout, and even my husband enjoyed himself although he wasn't looking forward to it! I would highly recommend this tour to any small group.
Incredible time. We had a complex trip with a marathon schedule, and the tour company worked with us to make a highly enjoyable tour. The day was the highlight of a 10 day trip, and Austria, originally just a side trip of an Italy and Greece cruise, became our favorite country.
My daughter and I really enjoyed the private tour. Guide was excellent - gave us a lot of info we didn't know, very friendly and gave extra suggestions of what to see and do in Salzburg.
