When I got to Salzburg, I was completely broke and couldn't afford to do anything that cost money. But then I got my Salzburg card and found out that I didn't need any, because it took care of most of the things that I wanted to see, and it offered a ton for me to do!

As we were staying close to the city centre, I don't think we got the best value from this card. We enjoyed very much the river cruise, the trip to the castle, and Hellbrun palace.

Be careful when using this card. When arriving at some of the attractions, they would not let myself and daughter in. The hotel contacted them for us, and we tried again. Not much English is spoken in Salzburg, and people are very rude.

When we arrived to pick up our card at the information centre, it was closed. So we had to wait two days to pick it up from another centre as we were told that it was only open on Mondays. When we arrived there they said that they had been open and we couldn't pick up pre-paid cards straight from the informtation centre. We had to pay extra! The zoo was worth visiting but I think that better information could have been given before this card was issued.

It's hard to redeem the voucher. It's easier to buy it in town or in hotel, plus it is cheaper.
