I had such a good time on this tour. The little bit of snowfall made some of the vistas around the lake district hard to see, but it added to the charm of the sites and left our group alone. Natasha was an amazing guide and she managed to get the whole bus singing. I can't recommend this enough!
My entire family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide was fantastic - she made the trip very enjoyable. The scenery you visit is breathtaking - the coach is very comfortable. We learnt so much about the movie - very much worth the money to do this tour.
Helen did an awesome job making our tour both informative and entertaining. Great to get out of the town and see some breathtaking scenery around Salzburg. The only improvement would have been picking a day when the temperature was just a little higher than -6C (at least the bus was warm)!! Apple Strudel a little disappointing but tour most definitely worth doing. A1 :-)
Great , especially the tour leader who is very friendly and helpful
Tour was everything we had hoped for and our guide Peter was hilarious!!!
Great trip. Peter was our guide and he was very informative about both the history of The Sound of Music and Salzburg in general. We had a lovely sing-along and he kept us entertained with his jokes. A great day out that I would thoroughly recommend. Can also recommend the Apple Strudel in Mondsee!!
This tour was great! Our tour guide on the coach Peter was fantastic as was the driver Zoran. They both really made the tour. If you are a Sound of music lover it was fun.
The tour was great. Our guide was very knowledgable on all things Sound of music. My adult Daughter and I learnt lots about the film ,the Von Trap family and also some history of Austira.
It started late so we lost the light a little earlier than we should. Other than that it was excellent.
We found ourselves right at the back of the queue for which we could see was a very full coach. Luckily for us and two other couples, we were taken in a minibus on our own private tour which was brilliant as we got to go to a couple of extra places the coach could not get to. Our driver Erik was very good and informative and his knowledge of the regional history was amazing. The trip is well worth the money anyway and having this private tour made it more special. Would recommend to anyone, even if you are not a particular fan of The Sound of Music as there is so much to see in this area. You must have hot chocolate and Apple Strudel in Brauns Restaurant in Mondsee!!
Helen was our guide and she did a fabulous job!!! The tour was very good!!
Sound of music tour was very good our guide Peter was excellent
Very good tour, informative and fun. Tour guid Peter was humerous and fun, in fact he was one of the best (if not THE best) tour guides I have ever had.
The tour itself was just about the right length and it was a nice touch to visit Mondsee and spend some time in the village.
