This tour was the highlight of our trip. My husband was not keen about it as he had never seen the movie, after watching it he was even more unsure but even he loved the tour. The tour guide was amazing, hilarious and made the whole thing even more exciting and great fun. The tour bus driver was great too. Our 6 year old daughter had a wonderful time also. It was great fun learning a lot about the behind the scenes issues - especially about Christopher Plummer.

I'm a SOM lover and the tour lived up to my expectations. Guide was pleasant and informative, encouraged singing on bus but wasn't in your face to those not interested. She gave loads of interesting info about movie that you wouldn't get any other way.

This was a wonderful tour! We took our 4 month old who was thankfully good and enjoyed every moment. The sites were beautiful and it was nice to get outside of the city and see the countryside. It was a great pace for a tour and gave you enough time to enjoy the locations but not too much where it seemed long. I would recommend it! It was also something we did first when we arrived and that was great because we became familiar a bit with the surroundings of the city.

Had a fun, informative day. Great to see the scenes from the movie. Couldn't wait to come home and watch it again to pick things out that I hadn't noticed before.

The Sound of Music Tour was everything I wished for and more! The scenery was breathtaking, and our guide's knowledge of the van Trapp family was amazing! I recommend it to all who enjoy 'The Sound of Music'. Only disappointment was we did not get to see the tombstone, which was done years back.

Tour guide made the tour a great choice. He was both entertaining and informative. Good pick for the locations we visited. Glad we didn't take tour time to visit Mirabell Gardens, handout let us visit there on our own time.

This is a must for anyone who has enjoyed the movie as it will save a great deal of time if you try to track down all the sites. If it has been awhile since you saw Sound of Music, do yourself a favor and rent the movie. It will make the tour more enjoyable to recall specific scenes and facts. Well done with a superb tour director and driver and the bus was very clean and modern.

An emotional tour, as I grew up with The Sound of Music, absolutely incredible, loved every minute. Would have loved to visit the house, the hill where she sang and the abbey though.

This tour was absolutely made by our guide, who was a fountain of trivia knowledge about the Sound of Music. He had a great sense of humour and turned what could have been a kitschy tour into a real experience. Good enough for us to want to revisit the movie.
