This is the most entertaining tour we have ever been on. The guide does a fantastic job of pointing out all of the key film locations in a tongue-in-cheek manner. We were laughing the entire time on the tour. We enjoyed singing "Edelweiss" and discussing Hollywood's liberal use of artistic license in the film, and the magnificent scenery simply cannot be beat.

My wife thoroughly enjoyed the tour and commentary that the tour guide provided. The tour guide has been doing these tours for fifteen years and was very entertaining. Be sure to get the pick up at your hotel. The bus picked us up at the "The Cordial Theater" hotel front door prior to going to the general pick up at the Mirabelle Platz which allows you to get a good seat before the herd gets on at Mirabelle.

We would have liked a little longer to look round at the village where the abbey is. There wasn't enough time to enjoy our apple strudel and then take a look round the abbey.

We really loved this tour. We have been on many trips through Europe and this was definitely the best. Even if you are not a huge "Sound Of Music" fan, there is still plenty to see and find out as my husband discovered. We would highly recommend doing this tour, and if you have time go to the Sound of Salzburg in the evening, it's great too!

This was, by far, the best tour taken. My guide was terrific, and although no Julie Andrews, her renditions of some of the songs during the tour were good. I wish I had more time to take additional tours.

"The hills are alive with the sound of music" on this tour. Not much to say except that it was absolutely brilliant. Informative and funny. The scenery was beautiful. Well worth doing. A very memorable day.

We lucked out with a great tour guide and learned a lot of interesting facts about the movie. A cool surprise stop took us on a toboggan down a big hill. I would definitely take the tour again. I recommend making advance reservations, because there were 3 full tour buses and I'm sure some people who hadn't made reservations didn't get a chance to make it that day.

While booking this trip on internet, I had a little doubt in my mind. But when myself and my wife reached the spot and got into the bus all my doubts were proven to be wrong. All tickets were sold, so I am thankful that I did my booking in advance. It was wonderful. Everything about it is excellent. The guide and the driver kept every one in good humor. We have decided to book through you as often as we travel. Thanks again.

The tour was great. The guide and driver were totally familiar with the Sound of Music, its history, and trivia. They took us to all of the sites promised on the website and provided many excellent photo opportunities. The only "surprise" was an optional stop for an alpine sled ride. I wasn't expecting it, so I didn't participate, but I really wish that I had done so. If I knew we were stopping, I would have loved to have done the ride. Stops were time perfectly for us to hop off, enjoy the scene for a few minutes, then hop back on for the next stop.

The tour was fantastic. We were picked up exactly when we expected to be. The guide was brilliant, the tour was great, would really really recommend it to anyone even if you are not a Sound of Music fan. A definite must do when in Salzburg.

I loved this tour. It was perfectly gorgeous and even though I'm not a huge Sound of Music fan, there was enough general history and culture to keep me interested. Salzburg is beautiful and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about everything and provided some of the most refreshing and interesting commentary on Austrian life I heard during the entire trip in Austria.

Extremely efficient, picked up from hotel on time. Excellent guide, very informative, very friendly. Was the highlight of my trip - my husband really enjoyed it too to his surprise! Scenery fantastic - will definitely return to Austria.
