Loved it. It's a fabulous tour that takes you out to the lakes as well as to all the sights in town. Definitely one to remember with a smile!

I had a great time on this tour. Our guide was so entertaining and gave us a lot of interesting information not only on the Sound of Music, but on Salzburg and Austrian life, as well.

This trip was wonderful. I was accompanied by my mom, dad, and sister, and we all had a great time. The tour guide was fantastic, and gave us so many details and stories from the making of the film. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The trip was simply wonderful. My wife and I enjoyed each and every moment. It was well paced, and the guide's narration and witty jokes kept us smiling throughout. We plan to take this tour again some day.

I would have liked to have learned more about the places in the city itself (i.e. the convent).

So much to see! Most was from the windows of the bus but at least we knew what to go back and see. And they gave us a brochure laying it all out. The trip to Mondsee was fabulous. Love that little town! Be sure and try the strudel with vanilla cream!

We enjoyed it very much but we were slightly disappointed that we weren't able to get all that close to the houses that were used for the filming. We had also hoped to drive along the road where, in the film, the children are in the trees. The guide's slightly mocking tone took away some of the magic of the film and his jokes wore a bit thin, but he did manage to entertain us. It was fun being able to sing along to all the songs.

This tour exposes some of the faults in the S.O.M. and gives you the truth behind the movie. Delightful and thoughtful tour guide. But like all tours, there was too much to see for the time allowed.

Was able to see a lot. Kind of corny, but that was expected.

I loved the trip. It was nice to see all the sights from the movie, but I was thinking we would get out and see more. We mostly stayed on the bus and drove past things. We did get out a few times. I loved that we got to sing along with the movie songs. This is definitely a great tour. Also, my tour guide was amazing!

My husband and I brought our 2 young children on the tour. Even though the tour is about 4 hours long, the kids stayed entertained and so did we. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. We would have enjoyed a more leisurely lunch if the break in Mondsee had been longer but, overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I expected to see more movie sights on the tour and was slightly disappointed by that. We toured the Mirabell Gardens after and saw as many sights then as we saw on the tour itself.

Take time to watch the film once more before taking the tour. You may then have a better chance of following the guides script. Do not, however, go on this tour thinking you are going to see lots of the films locations. I enjoyed the tour because it gave me a feel for Salzburg as a community and a wonderful view of the countryside near to the city.

Unfortunately, there was heavy rain that day but it was still a great experience. The guide was excellent.
