This tour was incredible. Not only do you get to see all the great places from the movie, but our tour guide also knew a lot about the city of Salzburg itself. He also offered up a healthy dose of humor and the tour was really one of the best I've ever been on! Would definitely recommend it to Sound of Music fans!

We were a party of 7 ladies who took the tour; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The music on the bus was great and really set the scene and the atmosphere. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The 4 hours flew by, and before we knew it, it was over. We all thoroughly enjoyed the trip. On a practical note, the coach was punctual and comfortable.

I think that there was a little too much emphasis on the reality of the vonTrapp family, which spoiled the magic a bit. But, I went with three young teenage girls, who absolutely loved it, and we were blessed with a perfect day with great visibility and snow on the mountains. Fabulous! We could have had more quiet background Sound Of Music tunes in the quiet times on the coach to keep up the atmosphere on the long stretches of mountain road.

The tour was great. The hotel pickup was right on time. The tour bus was comfortable, and our guide shared lots of good information. This is a good tour to take early on, so there's time to do a more leisurely visit to some places of interest.

We really lucked out on this one. We were among the last picked up from our hotel resulting in a full bus before we got there. We therefore had the opportunity to tour in a six person van. The tour was completely magnificent and our guide was more than well informed as to the history and content of "The Sound Of Music." Several in the van knew all the songs, so when our guide played the tape on the way back the entire van was awash with vocal renditions of the songs. A most enjoyable and memorable tour. This tour should not be missed.

Salzburg was beautiful and the Sound of Music Tour was great! Our guide really made it interesting and he also made us laugh. We saw some amazing sites on the tour and we had a great time! I would definitely recommend going to Salzburg and doing the Sound of Music tour!

This is the most entertaining tour we have ever been on. The guide does a fantastic job of pointing out all of the key film locations in a tongue-in-cheek manner. We were laughing the entire time on the tour. We enjoyed singing "Edelweiss" and discussing Hollywood's liberal use of artistic license in the film, and the magnificent scenery simply cannot be beat.

My wife thoroughly enjoyed the tour and commentary that the tour guide provided. The tour guide has been doing these tours for fifteen years and was very entertaining. Be sure to get the pick up at your hotel. The bus picked us up at the "The Cordial Theater" hotel front door prior to going to the general pick up at the Mirabelle Platz which allows you to get a good seat before the herd gets on at Mirabelle.
