What a great day out! We had the coach to ourselves, and the driver was first class. We felt we had our own personal taxi cab driver, and he deserves to get employee of the month!

The travel was excellent, the driver/guide is very professional, the views, walks around the 3 towns and shopping were great!

We had a fantastic day full of laughs thanks to our guide's sense of humour. His wealth of knowledge about the various areas we visited made the bus trip go quickly. Ensenada was a neat town to visit with lovely architecture, a yummy lunch at the restaurant and great shopping. We brought back a whole carry-on bag of painted pottery! After seeing the landscape, I understand why they use such vibrant colours and patterns. I'm a great fan of the artist Frida Kahlo, so going into Mexico was significant for me. Rosarito Beach and Tijuana weren't so enjoyable, but they didn't spoil the trip as we viewed them as part of the experience! Definitely a must, even just to gain an appreciation of what we have compared to the so evident poverty.

Worth the money; it's nice to be picked up at hotel and returned to the same in the evening. The views of the Pacific Ocean along the Baja coastline are memory makers. The luncheon with the margarita was outstanding, worth the trip for the luncheon alone. Fun to have time to walk around, explore, and shop in Ensenada. Bus driver was very informative along the trip. Great way to meet other people.

This tour was really great. It was well organized, the lunch was delicious and the driver was very funny as well as VERY informative. The view was awesome and they gave us just the right amount of time to spend in Ensenada and Rosarita Beach. It was a great first experience to Mexico and I would recommend everyone to take this tour.

Our bus driver and tour guide was so knowledgeable and had such good humor that we would love to come back again in December and shop away for the holidays. Please remember to bring cash. Only about 1 in 10 stores except charge cards. The lunch at Casa Del Mar was sooo good!

The bus driver was great. The food was very good - much better then I expected. The driver was very informative telling us what to expect in Mexico. It was very interesting to drive up the coast through the countryside. I recommend this as a very good way to visit Mexico safely. Overall the trip was very good. We enjoyed it a lot.

Worth doing for a quick taste of Mexico. Driver of Mexican ancestry had funny stories to tell and gave helpful advise. Sunday was a good day for hassle-free border crossing.

Great trip, beautiful scenery. Too long in Ensenada and not enough in Tijuana though.

I try to get out of the USA at least once a year, and running short on time in 2008, I booked this trip whilst vacationing in San Diego. I'd never been to Mexico before, and Ensenada was quite pleasing. The lunch was fantastic, and the drink was tasty too. If shopping is your thing, you'll like browsing the shops in Ensenada. We had about 3 hours to shop. The stop in Rosarito Beach was not spectacular, but a good rest stop to stretch our legs. However, the Tijuana visit was almost miserable we were accosted by shop owners at every single store we passed. The US economy is doing badly, and it shows because there were no Americans on the main Revolucion Avenue. I will never return to TJ just because of the pushy and desperate shopkeepers. However, the sampling of different tequilas was fun in TJ.

The restaurant was wonderful. Definitely the best tour meal I have had.

Worth doing but we were not impressed by Mexico.

The trip down, and in Mexico was great. However, when returning to San Diego after crossing at Otay Mesa which was remarkably fast we got an unnecessary 40 minute night tour of downtown San Diego as group after group mostly picked up in Tijuana were dropped off at various hotels before we were returned to the Harbor site where we started.
