Great experience! Not only was the tour awesome, seeing the caves and watching sea lions, but Josh shared his knowledge of the sea and sea life. And he's such a professional! Definitely recommend this trip!

The sea caves kayak tour was my favorite day of the entire vacation. My husband and I did the morning tour so we could have the remainder of the day to hang out at the beach or enjoy the town of La Jolla. The weather literally could not have been better. I get motion sick very easily but decided to risk it anyway and so glad I did. Our tour guide
"Zeik" was incredible. Just a cool, very knowledgeable easy going guy and definitely made the 2 hours the best it could possibly be. We wore our swim suits, the life vests provided by our hosts, sun glasses, sun screen and that was all that was needed. A waterproof camera would have been great but we forgot ours. They do sell them in the shop though. We would do this again in a heart beat. For transportation we became "Car 2 Go" members which was another great decision. If you are staying in San Diego for any amount of time, put this activity on your calendar! Also, the tandem kayak was a great choice.

The kayak and snorkeling package was the best part of our trip. I wish we had done it twice. 2 days. They were helpful and great.

We loved this tour. The guides that took us out were very conscious of everyone's safety and made sure that we were all where we were supposed to be and within their sight at all times. The conditions were good in that we were able to enter a cave and it was a great experience. The water was warm and beautiful and the backdrop of La Jolla beach was and the cliffs were beautiful.

A few words of warning about this tour: Firstly, entrance into the caves is dependent on the weather conditions. We did not get to go in the caves, and our guide said that they don't go in very often in the winter. Also, you WILL get wet, and I mean thoroughly wet, so be prepared and rent a wetsuit, or bring a change of clothes. That being said, we really had a nice time kayaking in the Pacific! I rented a tandem kayak with my 11 yr old son and even though we are both amateurs, we managed to keep up with the group and launch and land through the surf with no problems. The guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. This is a good tour for anybody - you don't need to be an expert kayaker. Without going in the caves, there wasn't much else to do, but we saw sea lions and went to the kelp forest (not that you could see it) and it was still a worthwhile experience.

We had a great day to kayak and our guides were very personable and knowledgeable. They keep the group numbers a lot lower than some of the other kayak tour groups we saw, and that makes it easier to give direction or explain some history of the area.
